Best of 2023. I love your pod cast. I am so impressed how much better couples treat each other than in my day. I'm 61 and we were basically clueless how to maintain a relationship. Your generation is getting it right. I also love the way you parent it is so intentional where I was just reactive. Don't get me wrong I loved my kids more than anything and thought I was doing a good job. But, again your generation is doing it better. I do think it has to do with the internet. You just have more info readily available. Keep up the good work. I believe you are helping so many couples.
But!! …. we had the most unobscured , and our life was less complicated 💗💗🙏🏻💗💗

I am very thankful I didn't have to deal with my children and all the dangers of being online.

I think one of the main reasons people love your podcast is because it is wholesome Christian based content and not the negative worldy things like other media put out

BEST OF 2023! 👍 This podcast is definitely a 5 ⭐️ podcast. My husband and my favorite episode on the podcast this year has definitely the one with Justin Whitmel and Lauren Earley, “Regaining sanity as a parent”. That episode was packed with so much valuable information, I loved all the godly wisdom. Thank you and we look forward to all the episodes this coming year.

Best of 2023 - the road trip episodes were my absolute favorite.
The best of 2023 were the interviews with Justin Witmel Earley and Arro. These two episodes may have been the most impactful to my marriage yet (other than the ones on goals meetings/check-ins… those have been so helpful) and have made my husband and I so much more intentional about how we spend our time together. This has been my favorite podcast since you guys started it. When it started my husband and I had just gotten engaged and it gave us so many things to apply to our marriage over the last 4 years. Thank you so much.
Best of 2023! My favorites were the one about grief after losing Andrew's Dad and the wildest stories series. I love how genuine you both are and how willing you are to share so much of yourselves with us. May 2024 bring you joy, laughter, love, peace, and blessings!

I am writing this with such a heavy heart. I live in Northeast NE, about 3hrs from Perry, IA. So, my thoughts, prayers, and hugs go to all those affected with yesterday's shooting.
When i listened to your podcast on my way to work, yesterday morning, i knew i would be coming to leave a review. The first episode that popped into my head as a favorite, was the Tennessee shooting episode. Then i instantly retracted and thought, no lets pick something less sad.
Now, here i am, with 100% certainty, that that is my favorite episode. This topic is so hard and how you guys went about talking about it was simply amazing. My heart broke when i heard about the shooting in Perry, IA. It hit so close to home, and i just, i really have no words.
Shawn - I have heard you talk about how amazing of a community Des Moines, IA is and I know that community feeling, because NE is similar about community.
Thank you, for talking about the good/bad and necessary things that help families as a whole. Your thought out interviews are always so meaningful.

Best of 2023- 5 ⭐️- it’s nice and refreshing to have faith-based opinions, marital advice, etc along with funny anecdotes. It’s not usually too heavy but very well balanced and easy to listen to. I have especially enjoyed the weird stories segments!

Both lend to how you mentally prepare and stick with doing hard things. I have been with since the beginning and this was my favorite year. You have so much more to give!

Best of 2023!!!! I think my favorite episode in 2023 was about money and managing money. Being in a new relationship, finances have been a rough thing to translate with eachother. That episode really helped us. Honestly, he isn't a big podcast person, but he has watched many of FamilyMade podcasts with me. It has been great to connect that way with him. We would love if yall could do an episode on blending families. I have one son and he has two children and we can get all the guidance or advice yall could give! Always an East Fam supporter!!

Best of 2023. Honestly my two favorite episodes this year, the interview of the babies aside, when Shawn interviewed Andrew, and the one about your dad, and all the vulnerabilities that came with it. I lost my dad at 18 years old, 15 years ago and I only wish I could have had your episode then. Not because it’s relatable (let’s face it what a terrible thing to have in common) but to know I’m not alone and there’s so much hope and light. Thank you for using your platform for so much positivity and kindness, and shining light on happy marriages, family and parenthood. Most people only share the negatives of it all, and it’s such a nice reflection that with work and effort happiness is always a choice. 💜

Also, Please keep Perry, Iowa in prayer as we had a school shooting there this morning. The only loss of life was the shooter but his family will still need prayer as they grieve as well. Though that don't know Iowa Perry is only about 20 miles outside of Des Moines.

I have been following you on your personal family channel and here as well. I love your family and how strong you are as a couple.
My favorite episode was the grief episode. I lost my dad in March of 2023 and that episode helped me so much. I was able to gain a new perspective on life in this new chapter without my dad here. Thank you for sharing and being so vulnerable.
