- Imagine the world slowly getting darker and darker. Your vision is deteriorating and there is nothing you can do about it. That, unfortunately, is the reality for people with Stargardt's disease. In her doctoral research, Iris Post (Trinity College Dublin) is trying to find a cure by using yeast genes. Watch her explain how this may help fight Stargardt's disease.

Ohh! Bro I’ve noticed that this disease is also found in India and Pakistan more than other countries. Anyway, I’m researching.
First start by telling doctors and techs to stop burning out the retinas. Simple optics learned In grade school. Also antioxidant rich foods help regenerate and stop more damage

@@waygirlyworkouts4149 I also have Stargardt's. The Foundation Fighting Blindness has a portal for people with IRDs to register so researchers can find patients to participate in clinical trials. I don't know your vision acuity, but if you have a high acuity of vision, I suggest contacting Alkeus Pharmaceuticals or Belite Bio. These two companies are developing oral medicines to slow the progression of the disease. If your vision is not so good, I suggest contacting Ocugen, Nanoscope Therapeutics, or Ray Therapeutics. These companies are developing gene therapies to restore vision to patients.
