British Onion Harvest 2024

The 2024 British onion season kicks off with the over wintered onion harvest. This year see the introduction of a brand-new harvester. We elected for the Grimme Varitron 470 Terra Trac. A versatile and high-capacity machine suitable for both onion and potato harvesting. This four-row machine harvests our crop at twice the speed of a conventional onion harvester, ensuring the crop gets into store as efficiently as possible.
