A day trip to Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle, Ireland

This park is located east of Boyle, which is accessible via the main train line that goes from Dublin to Sligo. The park is amazing with plenty to do, although there only seemed to be one restaurant on site and not much else nearby; additionally if you aren't coming by car it is a bit tricky to get there, you'll probably have to catch a taxi as it is quite far to walk, with some of the way not having a proper pedestrian path.
