Did the bracket bolts that you indicated as 22mm (mine are 19mm) have lock washers? I think my van has been missing the lock washers since I first got it yet the FSM clearly shows a lock washer goes with each bolt, both sides.
I no longer have this car, but I did do all the maintenance myself since new so I know no one else touched the brakes. And there is a washer on those bolts.
Regarding the 2 caliper pins, is it installed at the bottom or upper side of the caliper, the one with a grove for the small plastic boot? Please respond to me as quickly as possible . Thanks
When you put on the brake pads did it come with new brackets? Because on my vehicle it doesn't fit it on. Did you keep the old brake pad brackets or what? Thanks in advance
If you referring to the metal retaining clips on either end, they did not come with it, but I know you can buy the hardware kit to replace them. But still, the pads should fit. Make sure they are same size as original ones you took out.
Almost 20,000 miles and no problem. They are the best brakes i have had.and i think the slots and cross drill really provide better cooling and preventing the pads from glazing. The rotor material they use is very good. I will be changing my wifes car to this brand of brakes later this year.
It could make it a little easier on you if you turn the wheel pointed outward when you're working on that wheel makes a little easier to loosen and tighten the bolts just thought I'd throw that out there a little bit bleed the brake fluid a little bit too that's that's always a good thing to do and while the calipers still on there and everything you can actually push it back push on the rotor to push back the caliper just thought I'd throw that out there that old buddy oh Rusty buddy
Thanks for the video. Very helpful. How are the rotors working out for you?
CascadeSprings Very well. Still using the same set as you see in the video and no problems and no warping.
Great to know. I am thinking about using them for my Ody. Hope they are about the same quality across the board.
Thanks

The slide pin with the rubber end goes on the bottom, and the one that does not have the rubber end goes on top. This is specified by Nissan.
That's exactly what happens when I step on the brakes on my 2000 Nissan Quest!!!
They should do a recall I'll bet!!!
A recall on a 25 year old vehicle? You need your head examined.
The best detailed video guide ever was very informative and helpful.
Btw do you know how much would a mechanic charge to replace mine ?
For rotors and pads, think dealers will charge at least $300 for labor. Other shops might be around $200. That's per axle.
Awesome video, good job,
Great video thanks

Did you bleed it! Did push it in damage abs
D2F, great video, I looked everywhere for the torque specs, thanks
Glad to have helped. Cheers!
Thank you so much
Don't forge to have a BIG Sledge hammer available to knock the rotors loose. Not every vehicle has loose rotors!
How have they held. Up ?
