I run a Kaspa Node with an KS0 and KS0 Pro, mining directly too it. I was hit 3 solo blocks a day when total hashrate was 5 Ph/s with 20 Gh/s. And bought a bag in March 2023. I'm going to mine those KS0s forever, as a display, not as much as a huge money making process.
I wonder how much hash rate to justify mining to your own node. I have the ks3m 6th. I have been contemplating to solo mine, but I'm afraid it won't be profitable. Thanks for another great video.
Would be amazing if possible but I don’t see how that would be possibly with 100 bps. Storage requirements will be higher at that point. 10 BPS is what we need for now though to support current level of adoption. This will have storage at around ~200GB max.
Can you tell me what happens if Tangem descontinues the app? Is it still possible to reach the kaspa coins on the wallet? Because what I understand about this cards is that you need the app to read them. So, if you loose access to the app, what happens then? This question is disturbing me
The app can still work independently without tangem being operational. They don’t have control over if the app remains on your device. In the event you lose your app on your phone there is always an open source GitHub link to download the app on android and run it yourself. Likely hood of these things happening are very low but there’s always a way to get access to your funds again. If you really paranoid about this then just use the seed phrase option even though I wouldn’t use it.
From the kaspa wiki: Why Am I Seeing Different Max Supply's In Different Places? tl;dr: In a nut shell, the hard cap in the code is 29 billion but overall supply is an estimate, due to the halving schedule being on daa scores, rounding, original gamenet random rewards, and possibility for emission to reduce with faster block rates.
You did a good video but less helpful for the kaspa network. To really help the kaspa network, you need to run Archival Node. It takes at least 2Tb of ssd nvme. White static ip address (extra monthly fee) High speed internet. So, to build this server or pc to handle archival node is getting close to $1000 really pricy right. I am getting all info and parts to get archival node running right now. There are 1000s of nodes running every minute. Not the nodes you showed on the map. Archival nodes running today less than 100.
That’s another way to help the network but not everyone can do that. If you can’t I would suggest donating to any funding needed to keep the explorers running. We do have a good bit of people keeping up with archival nodes. Thanks for your support!
I just explained 5 different reason to run one still. You will value running a node when randomly transactions don’t go through cause you are reliant on a third party to always be online. Running your own node allows you to have control.

Kaspa is king 😊
Thank you this was very helpful.
$kaspa best project!
Great!
Can anyone teach you how to start a node outside of a computer?
Plz make a video how to connect tngem or kaspium to your own node with details
Tangem is not possible but I will be showing kaspium and kasware.
How can you make your node public on Kaspa NG?

can you please make video how to connect miner to this node ?
Yes, I will be making a video soon
I heard that Uncle shai wants to keep the cost of a node under $100.

@@KaspaSilver Could you please do a review of Spectre/ SPR w.r.t. KAS 🙏
How much KAS to run a node?
0 needed anyone can run one with the right hardware which isn’t that expensive to acquire.

@@KaspaSilver got it! Thanks!

Why is it saying 29B coins?
That’s the hard coded max supply
@@KaspaSilver then why are we advertising it as 28.7

Hello bro...What if not everybody running does'nt migrate to Rust ...?
vast majority already has
@@themistoclesofathens4178 yes but what if not everybody does....because it is a must Before ru ning to rust
@@amin-qm4jz some people won't I guess. Doesn't really matter.
Then they will be left behind when we move to 10 BPS. But currently over 90% of blocks that go through are on rust nodes.

So I would be working for free -_-
So, you get no Kaspa for running a node. Don’t see the point really then of running 1.

lol this is literally what the entire video was about 🤦♂️
why are you so selfish?
without people running the nodes, nothing would be there to support the network, and kaspa would be worth nothing.
Your exactly right there’s no point to running a node
More nodes I would would also decreases the transaction cost.
Brother have you got a tutorial on how to set it all up 🫠
