It was a beautiful crisp morning today and the birds were singing their hearts out.
Today we plant out a majority of the garlic as October is a great month! We also plant out the rest of the tulips for cut flowers next year!
As always, lots of weeding!
Plus, a few little updates, a couple of visitors and lots of tidying!

Another nice productive day for you today! I can’t wait to move and know what space I’ll have, maybe get on a wait list for a plot. All on hold bar some pots till then. Just have to keep gardening by proxy through you in the mean time 😅. Have a good one 🌻🌱

Learnt something new, didn’t even think about staggering the planting of garlic - We got a light first frost already so I panicked and whacked them all in 😂 Brilliant video / great tips as always Jake 💚
Ah, this is a little experiment I'm doing. I've got four of the same bulbs and I'm planting a row in September, October, November and December and see what the difference is with harvesting. I normally plant them all out come October. Like you, I was getting a little worried with the frost so got the majority of them in!

Oh no! You really are having a funny year with weather! But at least no rain! I can deal with wind, snow, ice, the lot, but rain does my nut in when I can't get down on the plot!

Great to see you again this weekend, Your Plot is coming together nicely, unlike you I don't plant bulbs cause I always think I could have some type of veg in that space or carrots in that tub, I do however feed the birds from the end of September to April, Thanks for the Vids and see you next week.
I used to be like that when I had just the one plot, but now I've got so much space I don't know what to do with it! Plus, I can move bulbs around pretty easily!
Yesssss, got to look after the birdies this time of year! We get so many types down on the plot, but my favourite are Robins, they're so tame here!
