Again i think i speak for a lot of guys here, we’re so proud to see you do this and your breaking national records in highschool, who’s know what will happen in college by senior year. Congrats man, keep up the work
the record being broken twice in one year is actually crazy 😭
Wild that Galen was hitting times right around these guys in normal flats.
A friend of mine ran cross country and track for Stanford from 1968-72. I am glad both of you are going there. They have a great tradition of runners and, of course, excellent academics. I enjoy your videos.
Hey Lex, I just wanted you to know that you are a huge inspiration for generations and generations. That record was just the beginning. I can’t wait to see you guys at Stanford!! It’s people like you that inspire everyone to be the best versions of themselves. Without you guys, I would not still be running right now. Thank you for motivating me and encouraging me that hard work and perseverance produce great results. Love you guys ❤
Even though they are now at the college level and world class level I still miss their old HS vlogs bc those videos make me feel like I was apart of the fun like I was joining them to NXN or states. Thank you so much for everything Lex and Leo you guys have inspired and shown me what amazing thing are out there for me and what I could achieve if I work hard.
I have stopped myself from watching this race anywhere else so I could on l&l heck yeah bro didn’t have a doubt
I watched this race in person and it was surreal to watch you pass the finish line within 20 feet of me. In the videos I recorded you can hear me screaming my head off cheering you on 😭
when ?
@@TimeoCrescence "In the videos I recorded"

This was probably one of the best L&L videos I've seen. Your guys production quality has gone way up
Congratulations to L&L!! Crazy fast times for high schoolers! The entire NP community is very proud of your achievements and inspiration.
Hopefully competitive running will be as fulfilling and enjoyable at Stanford. Wishing you both continued success and happiness, all the best!!
thank you so much!
Without you guys I would have never pushed myself and trained so hard you guys are a huge inspiration to me!
Absolutely amazing work. You guys are pushing the bounds of what is possible in just high school. It is truly inspiring. I’m just about to finish freshman year, and your videos have brought a drive to my running. At the 2022 Clovis Invitational I ran my first real 5k and finished with a 20:03. I remember after my race (I was in medium school varsity) waiting to watch the championship race with my teammates. When three Newbury Park runners crossed the finish almost six minutes before I did, I thought I was hallucinating. The speed at which you guys can run for so long at is absolutely blistering. I can only hope that I manage to achieve a time even close to what I saw. I currently have a 19:07, and I can’t wait until my next race. Thank you for the inspiration, and I am excited to see the next record breaking run that is inevitable in the next few years.
We appreciate the praise. Good luck in your future seasons !
Now at a 17:35 from Clovis and getting ready for sub-sections in a few days. Last year I ran one sub 6 race, a 2.2, and my average pace was 6:33 for the season. Right now my average pace is 5:55 and I plan to lower it even more. I’m also starting to collect medals. Last year sub 6 was unbelievable, and a medal in an invitational was unthinkable. I really love this sport, and I always come back to your videos for motivation. Thank you.
Quick recap of Sophomore season: At subsections (frogtown) I tore my hamstring on the very first turn (300m in). Kept running and hit a 5:14 first mile, but had to drop at around the second mile after adrenaline wore off. Was super dumb with my training coming off the injury, and was blowing through shoes that didn’t fit. Ran a 2:08 800m second race of the track season, about a second off of the Soph record. During the race I fractured the neck of my femur, but kept training for another month. Got an MRI when nothing felt better, results came back right before I was about to run a last ditch race for the record (April). Fracture was almost all the way through, good chance I would have died (lots of arteries in that area) if I had ran the race. had surgery where they put 3 titanium rods through my leg, then went on crutches for 3 months, got them off on my birthday. Started running about a month later, early August. First race was the Sierra Invitational, a 2 mile where I ran an 11:02, very close to the school record. Sierra is all hills, so a very good time for the terrain (Early August). Early September I hit a 16:48 5k at Kim Duyst, absolutely insane to me, only a month of training and I improved by almost a minute. Ran tougher courses the rest of the season and never got a chance to pr, and suffered a pinched nerve right before my last flat race and league championships. Got it fixed and came back for subsections, which I ran earlier today. Hit 5:20 the first mile, crazy considering I hadn’t ran in 3 weeks. 2 mile was around 11:00 (second mile is disgusting hills), but at about 2.5 foot went straight into a gopher hole, twisted my ankle and hurt my hip pretty bad. Had to drop. Sucks, but happy with my performance until then. I’ve got a community race coming up that is almost a guaranteed pr. I’m also excited for a great track season. Looking to make state senior year, I did have a decent chance this year (Junior), but late season injuries ended that. Found what I want to do, and I will not let go.
So proud of you both, Lex & Leo! Thanks for being such role models for the kids at Mesa Union. They were STILL talking about your visit up to the end of the school year! Have a great summer, and keep having that great attitude!
"Mr. D" 😀
Thank you so much! That is awesome! We’d love to come back and talk again someday
L&L such wonderful young men. Keep the faith and stay humble. God bless you guys.
L&L, please make a video on strength training, drills, warmup, recovery, etc. !! Anything that’s not running that helps with running
Congrats to both of you guys!!! So glad you broke the record Lex and now maybe the haters will shut up for a while. You guys have been a true inspiration to thousands of kids. Love the shirt at the end BTW. AWESOME
I've been waiting for this video after seeing you broke the record. You guys are really motivational, keep up the good work and content.
Thank you! Will do!
Wow, incredible video. Truly professional, I'm blown away. Love hearing Lex talk about race and articulate his thoughts
Can you guys make a recovery/post run video explaining some of the things you guys do to recover after races and runs as well as what you guys do as far as strength training?
Congrads dear friend you are going to be legendery. As one of your biggest online friends, how proud. Your parents must be so proud...
They are identical twins!?!? Ok, that’s cool! And the little puppy is too cute! Aww🥰🥰
Please stay healthy and don’t get sick🙏 I wanna see y’all pop off at Nike Outdoor Nationals
Wow! Congratulations! Love seeing the self discipline in you kiddos!! I have four sons who are runners, and they sure look up to y’all! Two of my sons said they thought Lex’s shirt in the latter part of the video is super cool- do you mind sharing where you found it? Thanks, and God bless y’all- Y’all are cutie patooties!
did i see a clouspike 😲, and DAMN a noticeable improvement in production quality here. thanks for all the inspiration as a runner and vlogger. you're even working on lighting which is insane
Thanks, we are always trying to be better
Even if you guys weren't the best runners ever, the quality of your videos is so impressive that you are certain to entertain us for a long time to come.....but you are the best runners ever, as well
Congratulations boys!
Congratulations Lex 🙂👍🏃♂️ Super time and now the National record 👍 ….. you love , work hard, and have fun with running……that’s the key ! Great video again! Both you and Leo -- More Great things to come 👍
Yo great job 2 questions
How many miles are you guys doing a week and Leo how do you style your hair
Can’t wait to see you in Stanford
Congrats on the record never had a doubt in you!!
Where is Aaron? Do you guys ever hang out with him outside of practice?
Yeah. I almost never see them with him. I know that he recently tore his IT band or something like that a week ago, so he's probably recovering.
they’re not that great of friends ive heard
@@patula6169 why not ?
Great to see your progression both in your guys' times and video content. Love it! Motivating everyone out there.
This is possible because L&L, and a few others, don’t run to win regional or conference races. They run for time, with an eye on the future, to bigger races against better comp. Sitting in a crowded field with a bunch of guys you should beat and dropping a killer last lap gets you nothing but a bunch of unremarkable titles and some nice pictures. These guys are running to win - in the future - world titles! Go get’em guys!
you guys not only kill it on the track but these videos are 🔥🔥🔥
I have never loved a video this much, you guys are insane! Congrats.
So glad to hear. I really appreciate it
Amazing you zoned in on your goal and smashed like a bullseye, both times are through the roof, Congratulations.
Congrats to both of you on fast times. Results come from hard work. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Great video! Not sure if I am more impressed with your dog 🐶 or your drone 😊! I will go with the running dog 😂!
Cobb's a great runner!
I wish I can met y’all in person it would be amazing
So inspirational, excited for NOTN!
I’m learning some things for these videos. I’m hoping to improve my times a lot in cross country next. I love these videos guys
Such a good video. The small changes/improvements are showing 🔥
That's a cool camera drone, what kind is it?
Honestly didn't realize the level tech is at now with the tracking and self-return on low battery, that's pretty crazy.
Seems like yesterday you joined Florida Boys… CONGRATS ON THE RECORD LEXY WEXY
Lex and Leo are too tuff at running‼️‼️
@@giannygalindo6730 same shit
Love all of the little things you guys do to keep making your content better and better
Great video and races! I wish I can run with my dog, mine just gets distracted and is always sniffing. When did you start running as a sport? I wished I started earlier than high school, feeling slightly behind my friends.
Awesome video what were your guys times I can’t believe Brayden did this race and festival of miles I love the race kit from the festival of miles race I can’t get one
ts is getting me so hyped for xc season
That dog is going to be the most athletic dog known to mankind
Dude love the video!! Great job y’all!
You should start posting on Strava Lex!
Sunday are the best cause it’s L & L Video day & my L & L Bennie is my Colon Caner Bennie
Well done! If you are interested, go read up on Bruce Fordyce. Both you and your brother remind me of his running style.
i was watching the race’s live splits. was so hype when i saw that led did it
Congratulations! Thank you for these inspiring videos. I know it’s mostly training, but is there anything nutritional that you do to stay strong with all the running you do? Like a go to food or common supplements you hear about like vitamin D, iron or a multivitamin? I noticed you eat Dave’s killer bread. Good choice! Do you eat whole wheat pasta?
Hey, as a high school runner what would you recommend as weekly mileage to prepare for XC if you run a sub 5 mile but get injured pretty easily? Love your videos!
You guys have inspired me to train better and run faster too. Go get the records guys! 🏃♂️
Holy moly what a beast you are. Also, how fast and long do you guys run with your dog. I want to run with my dog but i dont know how much they can take
yo congratulations to the both of you
we gonna see some official sub 4s this season?
Watch out for NOTN
3:39 1500m= 3:57 mile
@@ianbusche1471 it’s gotta be way faster, they don’t close their last 100m in 18 sec if they are going sub 15 on every other 100m throughout the race
@@lawsonbeymer fr
@@lawsonbeymer it’s a 109.4 extra meters and they would like run a bit slower because of the extra distance. 3:39.62=3:57.00
Amazing work guys. It's truly inspiring how much effort and love you have for this sport. You guys talk a lot about track spikes, however I am curious what type of spikes do you guys enjoy for cross country?
yes, we do in fact have a spike video coming soon!
@@LLexandleovloggs Sounds awesome, can't wait to see it!
Our Indian star Jinson johnson was in the 1500 meters 🇮🇳
Sooo when are the ON spikes dropping?
Man I remember first Mario brothers and meb keflezghi lapping me in a 2 mile race on at the poway track..not my best day..but to get lapped by meb well that was cool.. ..and that mission bay team was nationally ranked number one I believe devin elizondo David levy ETC..THOUSAND OAKS WAS NATIONALLY RANKED ALSO
New subscriber Congratulations on 5k record ✊
You guys are simply amazing!!!! 🎉
Good luck with your 1500m race tonight!
Hola lex I am ur cousin Kayla freind izzy yuh
Way to prove the haters wrong, amazing vid as always boys!
Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your story! I loved it because you personalized it. I thought it was fun to watch live. It was awesome watching Abdi comeback from falling to win the race! What made it even better was during his interview he turned the attention to you breaking the record. He seems like a loyal friend 🤙
I thought he said “not to hate on nut sack” 😭
Guys hear me out this might seem crazy and I’m not sure if it’s possible this late in the season on a outdoor track but you two Aron and Braydon in a 4xmile I bet you guys would beat you record from last year.
Not surprising y’all met Craig Engels. I swear that guy goes to all the track meet. He showed up at a meet in San Diego at the beginning of the season and I got to meet him
Those are some crazy times…
Awesome running
That dog has a higher VO2 max than me
Mr. Lex Young the 🐐🐐
That's Awesome! Keep Up The Good Work Guys!
Enter Daniel simmons
This is incredible. Very impressive. How hard did Rupp and Ritz train in HS, in comparison to these super fast kids of today?
Awesome race, awesome video.
Well done Lex and Leo.
Cob is the real top dog
You guys are really producing and performing at top levels! Keep it up!
Thanks so much!
What are you guys running in Nike out doors, do you guys plan to break 4 this year, also great video.
3:39 1500m is a 3:57 mile
Did Leo run a race? Was that him in the 1500W? Does it kind of make you nervous about the next level when competing against the older guys? It's a shame not more was made of your feat. Love your video's.
That dog is him for running with them and outpacing them
So inspirational 🫡
isnt it your second hs national record bc the 4xmile? or are you only counting it as individual
What’s cobbs weekly mileage
Fittest dog in the world, except for Flynn the gwp on Strava
Do you guys take a break from running after track season
What video/ camera do y’all use 🧐

Love the thumbnail!
Congrats🐐🐐
Leo and lex what were your times in middle school?
lex n leo vs their dog
What drone do you guys use?
Should have just hung onto the back of the pack in that 2nd mile. Wasnt much faster and you're letting the other guys work. Nice job though Lex, you did it the hard way.
Congrats!🏃🏻
