I respect Tokido and he is a legend of the game, however, my only gripe against him is that he almost always choose to play the top tier character of the game to win instead of choosing the character that fits his personality and game style. In SSF2T, it was Vega top 2 character beside old Sagat, here is was Ryu then Akuma then Luke (top tier characters for each season)…. This is why, Punk’s Karin or iDom’a Laura or Mena’s Birdie will always be more special to me.
Do gotta what you gotta do to win. Everyone plays the top tiers chars. Remember back in ultra when Momochi faced Gamerbee’s Adon and momochi’s Ken couldn’t win so he switched to E Ryu. Gamerbee then lost, but he really deserved the W more than anyone. If I remembered correctly it was EVO I think
