I actually have a pretty cool kydex sheath for my leatherman wave. Never had problem and i think it's going on 6yrs! It looks like a mag holder. I agree with you in your other video on using the cobra for edc. However this sheath changes the game a lil
I have mine in my pocket organizer for now. As for the grip on teeth, I told someone a few months back that if they worried so much about the teeth biting into metal and damaging it, then get some copper tubing and slip them over the pliers teeth as a cover. Of course you'll have to shape them around the grip of the pliers but it can't be too hard with a mallet. 🤷♂️ For this reason the Cobra XS is much more versatile than the pliers wrench, imo.
I own a pair and they are bloody useful and punch way above their weight. I don't follow insta and all that stuff so I do understand why the hype would put you off. But they are the best and most capable pliers for their size.
It’s a lot of pliers for the minimal weight, but a bit awkward to carry, so a sheath makes a lot of sense. I designed one to attach it to a milwaukee fast back, but the combination is a bit thicker than what you would normally fit in a pocket, so it’s more of a “drop in a backpack “ thing.
I can't believe you own the knipex cobra because I've never heard anyone who does have any complaints. Personally, I've found them to be indispensable, very well designed and made and superior to any similar tool.

Knipex are pretty useless..mostly for people on UA-cam & social media that want to look cool lol great video!! Good luck on the challenge!
