Love the honesty and great video. You are absolutely correct, don’t judge a fragrance from a test strip. There are fragrances I didn’t like from a test strip but loved it while wearing it
I actually like Red Rush, it's a good throw on and go smell. The whole red line I really like although extreme is my favorite. I've found the original Red while I love has the worst performance of them all.. But while Rush isn't going to light the world on fire it's definitely decent if one is a fan of the red line imho

I have wasted a lot of money on Polo's bomb fragrances. The only Polo I wear now is Red Extreme and Supreme Leather. I have all but given up on the house ever matching what they did in the late 70's.

Why can't they make fragrances that last like that anymore? Simply ridiculous!
Because they want you to keep buying their product. I'm the same with perfume. Even if I love the fragrance, if it only last 15 min. and I have to re spray 5 times a day, I won't repurchase. I can find other perfumes to love that perform all day.
Great video Ash! Too bad about that Lalique fragrance. I love Encre Noire Sport and Encre Noire a l’extreme. I even love Pour Homme. They smell amazing, and it’s nuts that you can own all of those for under 100 bucks.

Tested the zara one and 4 other ones on my skin and none of them lasted for more than 2-3 hours, with the last hour barely being there. Not even the tobacco one which isn't bad.

I carry PRPH around to show people after I show them Creed and before I show them my hand made fragrances so they can see I'm closer to the best than I am to the worst lol...the fougeres, especially that paco robanne, are universally hated by everyone I've ever shown it to...lots of comments along the lines of "like Brut, but worse"....

Ash, I would really love if you were to review the new version/Reformation of Rich warm addictive by Zara. Its more masculine with a boozy rum note on top.. Comes across like a boozy vanilla bean milk shake.. Worlds better the the 2016 version which is basically sweet suntan lotion..
I smelled Creed Aventus a few months back. Amazing. My wife would kill me if I bought a $400 bottle of cologne (she didn't even really like it). But I decided to try a sample of Perfumes Vintage Vintage Pineapple Intense. I quite liked it. At first. 2 sprays. First hour was great. Then it turned to cat piss. Even after try to wash it off, it still lingered. I walked around all day at work smelling like cat piss. I'm a fairly hygienic guy. Use good shower soap, drink plenty of water and eat plenty of fruits and veggies, wife likes my normal non enhanced smell too. So I'm not sure what gives... anyone have any suggestions or go through something like this?

That's so true! Ph, skin and sweat have a lot to do with the smell of a fragrance. For example the day after I go out drinking, and I start sweating the alcohol, my best smelling perfume just stinks. Lol
Fragrances are something personal and the same fragrance can be different worn on person to person. Best thing to do is to go to reputable department store and try testers. This way you can decide for yourself what you like.

All 4 Maserati fragrances I tried have very poor projection and longevity, they make Varvatos look like vintage Kouros.
