Damn, that was succinct and very well demonstrated.
Hey Russ. Thanks for watching and providing positive feedback. Hopefully you can put that formula to good you soon. Happy New Year to you and the family. 👍🍻
Old School Maths taught by an Old School Teacher using an Old School Calculator.
Doesn't get any better than this for us old blokes.
Gday Aaron, brilliant idea for a series that’s going to help a lot of us, maths and I have never been good mates so all help is needed 🤣, cheers
G’day Matty. It’s good to hear from you mate. Thanks for that. Yes mate, Math is one of those things if you don’t use it you loose it. Cheers buddy 👍🍻
Nice! I finally get to use some of the math I learned in school. Thanks for the educational video.
G’day Mick. Always fun if we can apply some of the maths we learnt from back in the day. Thanks for watching mate. Cheers 🍻
you made that look easy! really looking forward to the gear cutting one,, cheers👍👍👍
G’day mate, glad you enjoyed the video. Gear cutting is coming up soon 👍. Got a few machining videos coming first though. Cheers 🍻
Great info. Clear explanation. I'll be using this in the future.
G’day Kevin. Thanks for watching the video mate. I’m glad you found it useful. Hopefully you’ll be able to give it a crack sometime soon. Cheers Aaron.
I learned something today! Thank you Aaron! Great video.
Hi Guy, how are you mate? Thanks for watching, it’s a good little formula this one. Give it a crack in your shop sometime. Now on a more important topic, have you been up in your new vehicle yet ⛅️ ? Cheers 🍻
Great video Aaron! I'm going to recommend this to my students.
Request for the next shop math: tapers with (D - d)/ l.
Keep up the great work!
Hi Adam. Glad you found the video of interest. Absolutely, share it with your students. We used to teach this in the old MEM12024 unit. Good suggestion I’ll check it out 👍🍻
@@AaronEngineering I don't remember if we do it in 12024, but it definitely crops up in marking out for one of the assessments and 12024 is a pre-req for that!
Great explanation and demonstration buddy!!! That was way more simple than I remembered it being. Haven't actually done that since high school. I'll have to look and see if I've got a calculator like that....good excuse to buy one. :)
G’day Mike. Thanks mate, I hope other UA-cam shop machinists find it useful. I’m not sure how this playlist will play out. But I’m not too worried about that, as long as I / we share our knowledge. In my case that would all fit on a postage stamp LMAO 🤣
@@AaronEngineering LOL....my amount of knowledge is the tiny bit of spit it takes to wet that stamp. ;) .....which is a lot less than it takes to lick a nipple. :)
Great information Aaron thank you
Hello and thanks for watching. Glad you found it useful. Hopefully you can apply sometime soon. Cheers 🍻
Nice vid Aaron. Good idea to do a few in a series. Can I respectfully suggest using a marker or much softer pencil as normal pencil does not show up well. Keep up the great work.
G’day mouse. It’s lovely to hear from you mate. I hope you’ve been well. Thanks for the tip, an excellent idea. Cheers Aaron 👍🍻
Good one Aaron 👍
Thanks Max. Let me know when you’re ready for me to ship those parts over to you. Cheers 🍻
@@AaronEngineering Any time you are ready . Am in my shop mostly full time now . Cheers 👍
@swanvalleymachineshop ok mate let’s touch base during the week.
Good info mate
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey Robert. Happy New Year mate. I hope you’re feeling better? Glad you enjoyed the video buddy. Do you remember this formula from back in the day when you did your training? Cheers 🍻

Im much better now .., thanks mate 👍
Txting still slow, and speech still a touch ‘ garbled’.
But,,.., ok i guess 👍
Good one buddy! 👍
Thanks Tom. I hope you put that formula to good use 👍🍻
@@AaronEngineering I did. I figured out how many holes I have in my head. 🤣🤣
no more PCD PTSD
Ha ha ha good one Anthony. We’ve all got a bit of that buddy from past trauma in our lives. Cheers 🍻
Good one Aaron . 👍
Thanks Max. Cheers mate
