Hi, thank you for your video. A minute ago, I was giving up on going to Katsuo-ji as the round trip walk from Minoo Station - Minoh Falls - K Temple is discouraging (6.4km x2). After watching your video, I realise that I can take a bus from a metro station to K temple. Then, walk to Minoh falls. Lastly, walk to the station. Thanks.
Thank you for your comment! I'm glad my video was helpful. I had the same issue when I was planning this trip because I wanted to visit Mino Park first. However, since Mino Falls is close to a train station, it made more sense to visit it last, so I wouldn't have to worry about the bus schedule. Hope you enjoy your trip!
Great video! I’m thinking of visiting and can’t decide if I should walk from Katsuoji to Minho falls via route 4 or the road. Did you feel safe walking on the road with cars and how long did it take to get off the main road?
Hi! Thank you for commenting! Although the path was on the road, I felt safe since I walked in broad daylight. As far as I remember, I stayed on the road the entire way to Mino Falls. The roads were wide enough, and if you stay on the side, it should be safe. I was initially worried about the road as well on my first attempt, but there were other people with the same idea of walking from the temple to the falls, so I wasn’t walking alone the whole time! Hope this helps!
Hello, I would like to do this hike from the Katsuo Ji temple to the waterfall, then the classic trail to the station. I will be with my children aged 4 and 5 and a half. Does it seem OK for them? No danger on the way (empty at the edge of the trail, that kind of thing)? Thank you, Jessica
Hi Jessica! Thanks for commenting! Although it's a fairly smooth trip from the temple to the waterfall, it's still around an hour worth of hike plus an additional 20-30 minute walk to the station from the waterfalls. Unless they are used to walking long hikes, it might be a little tough for children. Taking breaks here and there might help, and if you do it during the autumn season, the cooler weather should help lessen the fatigue buildup. And as for the way to the waterfall, I think it is fairly safe, although you have to pass by the side of the road where cars pass by most of the time, but aside from that I'd say it is pretty safe as long as you just follow along the road and stay by the side. Hope you enjoy your trip! :)
Hi! Thanks for commenting! I suggest going to Katsuoji first because the bus trips are few. From Mino park, you can actually access the Hankyu line, which can bring you all the way to Umeda, where you can transfer to most of the other trains. But if you are going by car, then any would be fine! Enjoy your trip!
Hi! I think it’s possible to go to Mino station by bus from Katsuoji but you would need to transfer once, and the travel time is not much different than walking it instead. And walking will bring you directly to the waterfalls, rather than having to walk from the station. Enjoy your stay!
@@yunirita4059 There was a bus before but I'm afraid there's none now as far as I know. One way to avoid the hike would be to ride a bus returning to Senri Chuo station and going to Mino park from there.

excuse me, is there any public transportation, such as bus, from Katsuo-ji to Minoh Park? Or only 1 way: on foot? Thank you :)

Hi! Do you need to prebook the bus ticket to katsuo ji or u can pay by ic card?
Hi! No need to prebook the ticket and you could also pay with the IC card! Enjoy your stay!
How long you walk ftrom the temple to mino fall?
More or less 45 minutes! I don’t recommend walking after the sun sets because it can be really dark and there are some areas without lights.
Can we just take bus from the temple to mino park?
