Happy New Year, Everyone! 今年もよろしくお願いします!
Thank you for tuning in once again!
Today's video is about how much it cost me to study here in Japan.
Putting the money issues aside, the paperwork associated with coming here was also no walk in the park, but here is the list of basic requirements for those who wish to apply for the Certificate of Eligibility (COE). Please note that the Immigration Bureau of Japan might ask for additional documents if necessary.
For the Applicant:
•Passport and valid ID
•Application Form
•Diploma / Transcript of Records
•Birth / Marriage Certificate
•Employment Certificate
•JLPT Certificate
•Resume
•Medical Certificate and NBI Clearance
For the Sponsor:
•Letter of Guarantee
•Bank Balance Certificate ( Balance must have ideally 800,000 or more)
•Bank Statement and Income Tax Return ( 3 years)
•Employment Certificate / Business Certificate ( DTI Permit, etc.)
•Valid ID
•Passport Copy
Special notes about the video.
•For the apartment, I still had to buy my own bed/ Futon for around 7,000 yen.
As for the computation of my total costs, here are the things that I did not include:
•My flight ticket.
•Money spent to buy clothes and trip essentials.

After a long while, I'm finally posting my 9th video! As you can see, I still stutter a lot during filming and thus resulting in a lot of edits and cut-outs. But I do enjoy making videos, and I hope you guys enjoy my content too. So for today's video, I will be showing you my apartment here in Shiga. I have been living here for around six months, and I have loved every second of it. Unfortunate...

Hello Everyone! It's been a while since I had last posted. I have been very busy with job hunting and moving, so I didn't have any free time to edit videos. But at last, I am now ready to move on to the next chapter of my life, and I'm very excited to share it with you all. Although my work each day was short, I had to work almost every day to make ends meet, and couple this with school, I bare...

It's a bit late, but Happy New Year, everyone! This video is a compilation of how my 2020 went. Of course, these are highlights shown in the video. 2020 was a rough year for me, just like for everyone else. But I've been surrounded by great people, and they were a lot of help to me. It was my first time spending the winter holidays here in Japan since I couldn't visit my family home. But it's n...

Hello Everyone! It's been a while since I last uploaded a video. My schedule was packed with school and job hunting, so I had little time for editing. A few weeks ago, I finally had a day off and decided I needed a change of pace, even if only for a day. A friend recommended Katsuoji Temple since it's not far from the city and a great spot to enjoy the autumn colors. I apologize for the distort...

Hello everyone! I haven't been posting for a while because I've been very busy with school and work. But hopefully, I'll be able to upload content more timely next time. I apologize if the video is blurry or shaky in some parts. I didn't bring a tripod for this trip because I wasn't really planning to make a video of this trip. The side notes are also quite quick to disappear so feel free to pa...

Hello! Thank you for watching my third video! It was my first time talking in the video, so I was a bit nervous! This video is a room tour of my previous apartment here in Osaka. It was a great room, but it was too small, and I found a better place closer to where I'm studying. If you enjoyed the video, please do like, comment, and subscribe! Hello! Thank you for dropping by to watch my video! Just a little backstory. I am a 23-year old Filipino studying the Japanese language here in Osaka, Japan. And this marks my first year here. Great video! I’m thinking of visiting and can’t decide if I should walk from Katsuoji to Minho falls via route 4 or the road. Did you feel safe walking on the road with cars and how long did it take to get off the main road?
Hi! Thank you for commenting! Although the path was on the road, I felt safe since I walked in broad daylight. As far as I remember, I stayed on the road the entire way to Mino Falls. The roads were wide enough, and if you stay on the side, it should be safe. I was initially worried about the road as well on my first attempt, but there were other people with the same idea of walking from the temple to the falls, so I wasn’t walking alone the whole time! Hope this helps!
@@UrusaiJeffu this is very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to reply :)
Hi, thank you for your video. A minute ago, I was giving up on going to Katsuo-ji as the round trip walk from Minoo Station - Minoh Falls - K Temple is discouraging (6.4km x2). After watching your video, I realise that I can take a bus from a metro station to K temple. Then, walk to Minoh falls. Lastly, walk to the station. Thanks.
Thank you for your comment! I'm glad my video was helpful. I had the same issue when I was planning this trip because I wanted to visit Mino Park first. However, since Mino Falls is close to a train station, it made more sense to visit it last, so I wouldn't have to worry about the bus schedule. Hope you enjoy your trip!
Hello, I would like to do this hike from the Katsuo Ji temple to the waterfall, then the classic trail to the station. I will be with my children aged 4 and 5 and a half. Does it seem OK for them? No danger on the way (empty at the edge of the trail, that kind of thing)? Thank you, Jessica
Hi Jessica! Thanks for commenting! Although it's a fairly smooth trip from the temple to the waterfall, it's still around an hour worth of hike plus an additional 20-30 minute walk to the station from the waterfalls. Unless they are used to walking long hikes, it might be a little tough for children. Taking breaks here and there might help, and if you do it during the autumn season, the cooler weather should help lessen the fatigue buildup. And as for the way to the waterfall, I think it is fairly safe, although you have to pass by the side of the road where cars pass by most of the time, but aside from that I'd say it is pretty safe as long as you just follow along the road and stay by the side. Hope you enjoy your trip! :)
@@UrusaiJeffu Hello thk you for your answer. Yes they are used to walk with us :)

Gwapo man ❤❤❤
I’ve yet to visit this place… hmmm…
Hi! Do you recomend go firts to minoo park and next katsuo ji?
Hi! Thanks for commenting! I suggest going to Katsuoji first because the bus trips are few. From Mino park, you can actually access the Hankyu line, which can bring you all the way to Umeda, where you can transfer to most of the other trains. But if you are going by car, then any would be fine! Enjoy your trip!
Hi Jeff! I live in a leoapalace and I’m moving out. I put an adhesive sticker in my bathroom coz I didn’t know that it was magnetic at first. To cut the story short when I took it out few scratches came up. How can I fix this?
Hi @merethatgirl Thank you for commenting! Unfortunately, I'm don't know much about repairs but if you paid a deposit before moving in, they might take out some of it to fix the scratches if necessary. But I also know you are required to pay a cleaning fee before moving in or out, so they will probably take it from that. I suggest talking with customer support to see what they can do! Hope it goes well!
How long you walk ftrom the temple to mino fall?
More or less 45 minutes! I don’t recommend walking after the sun sets because it can be really dark and there are some areas without lights.
Can we just take bus from the temple to mino park?
@@yunirita4059 There was a bus before but I'm afraid there's none now as far as I know. One way to avoid the hike would be to ride a bus returning to Senri Chuo station and going to Mino park from there.
Where is your folding table w/ chairs and your built-in loft bed??
Hi! This unit didn’t come with the loft bed and folding table/chairs! I had to buy everything myself except the TV, fridge, microwave and washing machine.
excuse me, is there any public transportation, such as bus, from Katsuo-ji to Minoh Park? Or only 1 way: on foot? Thank you :)
Hi! I think it’s possible to go to Mino station by bus from Katsuoji but you would need to transfer once, and the travel time is not much different than walking it instead. And walking will bring you directly to the waterfalls, rather than having to walk from the station. Enjoy your stay!
@@UrusaiJeffu oh I see, thank you so much for your suggestion
Hi! Do you need to prebook the bus ticket to katsuo ji or u can pay by ic card?
Hi! No need to prebook the ticket and you could also pay with the IC card! Enjoy your stay!
