You are misusing their language, when you say "our" when talking to them, they assume automatically that you are including them in the ownership. You should be more specific and say ",y", because the ownership expressly, unequivocally and unambiguously excludes them. Right now, they are busy evicting and deporting Zims from their country; this is one more reason not play with them.
Many thanks for thse two great videos of Gonarezhou! I really like your videos (the Hwange one´s as well). I´m thinking about visiting Gonarezhou on my own with a 4x4 but it would be in the second half of comming november. So I´m quite unsure if this would be a good idea.
I was born in Gwelo/Gweru myself and for those who know Gweru those Swamps, small stream between Lundi Park and South Downs that's actually the Source of Lundi /Runde River, that's the starting point of the river.
Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your adventure. All the more reason for me to return. Regards to die ou basa. From a fellow comrade from the past. Geoff Blyth.
Thank you so much for bringing back memories. My father was once Game Wadern for Gonarenzou National Park. Mr Faustino Takawira Madawo.. We used to enjoy game viewing. Fishing at Masasanya dam and viewing chilojo cliffs.
Yes, that is partially true, but you can access most of the park with a high clearance 4x2 pick up / bakkie, especially after the new low level crossing was completed recently near Chipinda Pools. You should just not attempt river crossings without a 4x4 ;-)
Awesome ! Pse advise on crossing of river ; we r booked at chipinda ; HLaro; chivote ; first time. Visit to gonarezou next year in May ; towing a small off road caravan! Many thanks!
Dear Joao. Thank for the comment! There is a new causeway near Chipinda Pools close to the park office where you should be able to cross without any trouble. I think it would be best to contact the park office closer to the time to get the latest info. Happy travels!
@@mannastander7209 thank you for your prompt reply ! Also your two videos have lots of inside tips and info ! (we are no rookies but accept and always seek reliable info /data whenever travelling to new areas !
I believe it is now possible yes. You can cross the Runde river at Chipinda Pools using the new causeway and then drive down to the cliffs from there. Budget a full day for this trip, regardless of the route you take. :-) The roads are in good condition and the park is in good shape as the park is run in partnership with the Frankfurt Zoological Society.
Hi. Sorry for the late response! It depends on the places you visit. My Cruiser is very robust, but not as comfortable as the Prado. Ha ha. I enjoy both very much to be honest! Gonarezhou is close to SA and we only went for a short trip so there was no need to carry extra fuel. We also stayed in the tented camp which means we did not have to take a load of gear. Had the trip been a longer camping trip then we probably would have used my Cruiser as it is better equipped for longer excursions. Both vehicles are very capable, so it is difficult to choose a favourite! If you are going to use the vehicle as an everyday driver with the odd camping weekend or overlanding trip, buy a Prado or Fortuner as these are way more comfortable and cheaper to run as everyday vehicles. If you're planning to use it mostly for overlanding and you plan to keep it for many years, then buy the Cruiser double cab or station wagon. These last forever!
Netjiese video, pragtige plek, onthou van my jong dae
Thank you for showing the other side of our country Zimbabwe 💕👏.

Absolutely phenomenal.
I wonder what it would take for me to afford my own 4x4 capable of traversing such terrain.

awesome vlog.was the other gentleman Pizzo from PTA?.
Thanks! No, it wasn't :-)
Can you visit these viewpoints without crossing the river? It amazed me how easily the 4x2 got bogged down.

What do you prefer your Cruiser or your Dad's Prado?
