Gonarezhou National Park West, a Whole Park for myself - Solo Africa Overland, Ep. 24

I finally found the road to the Mwenezi River and after crossing it I headed towards Gonarezhou National Park, on its western sector. This is a beautiful area and near the river is where most of the roads and wildlife are. It is certainly a stunning drive where I was able to see some antelopes, giraffes and elephants. I took all the time in the World to drive my way to Mabalauta gate and then to the far northwestern part of the park. There is where the fantastic Samalema Gorge is located. It was a nice surprise for it is a spectacular, exposed trek that lasted almost an hour surrounded by a surreal natural environament.
