- At least one person has died from a result of Hurricane Beryl hitting St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Carriacou island in Grenada. Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves announced there may be more fatalities. “Hurricane Beryl, dangerous, devastating hurricane has come and has gone and it has left in its wake, immense destruction, pain, suffering, across our nation at this hour,” he said. The prime minister announced he received reports that 90% of the houses have been severely damaged or destroyed, with the island’s airport’s roof gone. Grenada Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell, gives a briefing on the latest.

Finally, a professional who bothered to pronounce “Grenada” correctly 🎉.
Here come actors, musicians and politicians asking for money from the poor to assist while they keep their millions safely to themselves. They will of course first pocket most of it before having film opt showing they care.
It was Carraicou that is part of Grenada that was flattened.
This is totally unacceptable, ruining people's lives like this.. I'll have to have a word with god about all this carry on.

Granada is in Spain I believe. The country in the Caribbean is called “Gren Nay Duh”.
