I miss the metal fusion beyblades. They were so fun to play with and “collect” wish I’d of known how hard they be to get today. There basically rare to buy at this point. I had like 55 at one point but between moving houses and being a kid, I lost most of them. I have one left my pride and joy💀
I've been a beyblade fan for years but I clicked on the video anyway because of Wrath Cobra C7 on the thumbnail. I've had a weird fixation on Viper Hydrax, and as of now I've gotten so much experience that I've now moved on to making my own 3D printed beyblades. Regardless though, I still enjoyed listening.
@SzasseGames At the moment I just have 1 prototype, and it was made with an older white filament so it's pretty rough. I do have some newer coloured filaments but I haven't got around to printing the final version yet. I got the basic template files from CrazyAries. The first version was meant to be an upgraded version / evolution of Viper Hydrax, as I started the project in 2021 before Wrath Cobra existed. I then found out about that beyblade so I went back and made a new design based on a custom metal fight combo, with it prominently having the blades from the Hades/Hell fusion wheel. That version requires over 5 metres of filament so I haven't been able to print it either, so at the current point in time, I'm working on a third version. This third version is based on another Hasbro exclusive called Ambush Basilisk, as I bought that beyblade literally yesterday and thought it looked cool. I plan to try and do something more unique with the design, using the original design as a base, so I can essentially call it an evolution despite the parts being from Sparking.
The last time I picked up a beyblade was when ginka was a character. I just bought the evo pro pack or whatever in this video yesterday and thought they felt so cheap compared to the metal fusion days. But then I read the manual on how to play and it was supposed to be designed that way because you need to break the bey to get two points
Thanks for the vid man! Just got back into beyblade in my 20s, and didn’t understand the real difference between hasbro and Takara tomy until now. Wont be wasting any more of my money on anything below pro series going forward, also gotta get myself a takara tomy Dranzer. Thanks!
You're very welcome! Beyblade X is about to come out and for the first 2-3 years hasbro should be equivalent to TT for those products once they start to release.
4:03 Well very few select Hasbro beys do get *some* bits of metal. Hades H4 and Xcalius X4 for example. And only Fafnir F6 got the rubber as well as F3 but those are the only rubber-esque beys Hasbro has made. 5:41 And it comes with two Light Launchers, not Dynamite Battle ones. Though if they did throw in the Db launchers, it would likely be far more expensive than it already is.
@@SzasseGames I'm always keeping an eye out for smaller details. I can't buy all of these beys but with the reviews and research, I find every spec and detail. Also a little trick I learned is that when launching with a string launcher, you just let your finger and thumb a bit loose, enough to hold the handle and to release it at its full pull.
I used to watch the first Beyblade series a lot as a kid but never got into battling with them. Recently I've gained a renewed interest in this but, more in the way of sparcely collecting some nice ones to put on display. Although I do plan on playing the Burst App in a casual manner.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer as I sort of got it answered through random searches. But to double confirm.. So if I were to buy a pro series Beyblade to get the driver out of it specifically, I wouldn't be able to switch that driver out into a Speedstorm series? I recently picked up a Demise Devolos D6. For a stock beyblade it does pretty well, most recommend however to switch out the driver. So would I have to only use "Speedstorm" drivers if I wanted to customize it at all? Or can I purchase the pro series Beyblade (Zwei Lunior to be exact for its Xtend+ driver) and use its driver on Demise Devolos.
You can use any Hasbro driver except for pro series. Pro series uses the takara Tomy style teeth system for locking in, where Hasbro usually uses slopes. They are not compatible
Would there be any way to do an indepth video on the interchangability of parts, which parts do what, and respectable dealers to buy from? I'm completely lost in my search and I keep running into counterfeits, save for Beys and Bricks

Great video! I’ve been wanting to get back into beyblade but I’m not sure where to start exactly, I’m thinking about trying out beyblade burst but I’m not sure how it compares to beyblade metal. Will it break more or be worn down faster cause of plastic? Also I saw a lot of people say the fighting in burst is more boring compared to metal. And I’m worried about the whole generation thing in burst there’s so many I don’t know if I start in one generation only to find another generation is superior like dual layer vs quadstrike or god layers.
Burst is now over, and it's not a great time to get into that generation. Especially so if you are a metal fight fan as there is an adjustment period to get used to the generation change. If you're getting back into Beyblade right now, you need to look into Beyblade X

Does the layers, disks, and drivers always come in a original set when purchased? They are all mixed up. So I don't know which part originally goes with what. Can I just resell each part separately?
did they remake / remade plastics generation into new one like brust / metal ? i want to get the latest version, but still have nostalgic looks like the og i grew up with
Yes they did. There is a 2020 anniversary and 20th anniversary set that takes the plastic gen designs and makes them burst. Or there are plenty of Dragoon draciel Dranzer and driger released from Hasbro, or in Takara random boosters
ua-cam.com/video/ke1EIfwGEho/v-deo.html This was when we were just starting out so the recording is a bit rough, but a good breakdown of that 20th anniversary set.
I'm struggling with one of the launchers. It only fits or works with one of my beyblades. The beyblade won't come of the launcher. Is there something I'm doing wrong. Just starting out and think it's all quite complicated.
Some of the launchers for smaller beyblades can get stuck on the bigger ones. Like if you are using a green/red/orange hasbro light launcher on a pro series beyblade, or a takara bey, it might struggle a bit there. All burst launchers technically work on all burst beys, but there is always a bit of wiggle room in that where some are really tight
Welcome back to the hobby! The burst generation is an excellent point to get back into for those who liked the originals. Hope you find my content helpful to your return :D

In my opinion, hasbro is simply quantity over quality becuz they releases more variants of beyblade and stadiums. Including beys those that werent even in the anime and a few stadiums that has some sort of similarity to the ones in the anime, so thumbs up to them for that even though they completely deleted the gimmicks on their beys when their dubbed anime has more views than japan's. While takara tomy on the other hand, is quality over quantity. Takara tomy releases beyblade just like how it appears to be in the anime. They also do release some variants of beys (mostly recolors found in random boosters) including some that werent in the anime like gt odin, flare and etc. Simply put, hasbro put in more money in the quantity and varianty of beys for the enjoyers to choose from, while takara put in more money in the quality so that its enjoyers can get some sort of feeling similar to the anime. But I still think takara tomy is better becuz if hasbro really put the concept of quality and similarity to what the anime shows into their beys just like tt, the world would definitely know more about the beyblade burst series becuz the eng version of beyblade burst which hasbro publishes is shown to the whole wide world.
It took me 1h to assemble my first bayblade. And 15 min in to trying to launch it only acidental launches are good ones on purpiss ones keep falling off and i dont know how to fix them. Edit: if you statread at first gen and came back only to start from burst then you may experiance hardnes of launching your spiner since unlike the first fen spiners this ones point of conection to the launcher is wery flimsy.😢
This is a good video, but I do have one gripe: I don't think its a fair comparison to show the Hasbro plastic gen remakes as what Hasbro beys are now. Its very misleading as they just aren't really a real comparison. Like the thing about it is that you actually just did what you should have done, show the current quad drive stuff. Its clear to most that those suck compared to TT now. I'm not defending Hasbro, quite the opposite, but I don't think its right to show plastic gen remakes as if that's what Hasbro beys are now. Also Hasbro stuff on average (when they were the same things like before turbo) were actually a lot harder to burst than TT, even with TT's dash drivers. People only think that Hasbro is more burst prone cuz the 6 top tier layers in TT were heavily nerfed for the Hasbro version. In exchange though, others that were bad in TT were buffed to be much better. Things like roktavor, unicrest, kerbeus and yegdrion are the top tiers insted of the Valkyrie, Neptune, deathcyther, and Odin of TT.
Thanks for the passionate comment! Haha those plastic gen pictures were added by my editor to break up the view points. I missed that they added those when I put this up, or I would have had them swapped to something more recent, but it was already posted before I noticed.

Most of those prices are looking at importing the products from Japan, so most of the cost is delivery and transportation. Beyblade has quite a large older teen/adult audience that is paying for these Japanese imports.

@SzasseGames not yet, we just made the decision last night to get started. We are thinking about buying a lot of beyblades and stadiums on marketplace or eBay to drum up interest at the shop, but I don't really know exactly what I'm looking at anymore.
@@brymanxl well, it's a pretty good time to get that moving. The new Beyblade X is about to release in north America on June 1st. So a lot of interest is bubbling around that.
If youre intending to buy a bunch of beys I would wait for that release as those will be pretty affordable and able to be picked up locally
@@SzasseGames thanks for the heads up, I'm learning about X, I was wondering when we were going to get it here.
I miss the metal fusion beyblades. They were so fun to play with and “collect” wish I’d of known how hard they be to get today. There basically rare to buy at this point. I had like 55 at one point but between moving houses and being a kid, I lost most of them. I have one left my pride and joy💀
You should check out Beyblade X! Its like Metal gen but better
What are your 3d printed beys like?
@@tucannYT That's really cool!
I used to collect bay blades and I wanted to get back into it this really helped thank you
Welcome back to the hobby!
The last time I picked up a beyblade was when ginka was a character. I just bought the evo pro pack or whatever in this video yesterday and thought they felt so cheap compared to the metal fusion days. But then I read the manual on how to play and it was supposed to be designed that way because you need to break the bey to get two points
Yeah they will definitely feel different from metal days, but the burst mechanic is so fun. I really hope you enjoy!
@@SzasseGames I had tons of fun! I want to buy more!
Thanks! I always appreciate your breakdowns and verifications
@@FirestoneAnimation an excellent tip!
I used to watch the first Beyblade series a lot as a kid but never got into battling with them. Recently I've gained a renewed interest in this but, more in the way of sparcely collecting some nice ones to put on display. Although I do plan on playing the Burst App in a casual manner.

Cheaply made? yes. Cheap to buy? Not always, unfortunately they can get quite expensive to buy in most places I’ve seen
I know hasbro isn’t that good ,but it’s so fun to see the Beyblades bursting left and right…Especially if you use Siege Xcalius! Also great video !
I agree, hasbro is still good beyblade fun, and with way more common bursts its sometimes better for kids to enjoy. They didn't keep up with TT's quality and complexity, but they are a better kids toy. Thanks for watching!

Cool video. I just prefer the Metal Fusion series overall. It was my childhood, and at the time the Metal Fusion series was so popular and in demand. My first one was actually Rock Aries
A lot of people have that sentiment so I totally get it haha. Burst and Metal are very different. What I like about Burst is that it went back to more like the plastic gen when I started, so it definitely fit my expectation of beybalde more.
@Szasse Games Beyblade I would love to get back into it. I had some of the more original names that you would see. But it seems like finding them is hard anymore unless you go for the Japanese ones, and even than I can't find anymore than like 15 names and that's about it. I don't want to buy off eBay.
Where do you and what do you recommend to buy takara tomy beys from. I am starting my collection I have 2 DB beys and I am planning to expand.
We usually do BeysAndBricks, MallofToys, or BeybladePremier

So if someone judges you, just build a circle of like minded. Every hobby has a circle of peeps who are happy to bring new enthusiasts in.
That's definitely fair.
Beys and bricks
Mall of toys

Beyblade premiere
These are sites I would recommend. I can add that request to our list of video plans for sure but it will take a while to get out. Thanks for the comment!

Yes they do
How do I know if a beyblade someone buys me is compatible with ones I already have without opening it?
As long as it's the same generation they are compatible. So all Beyblade Burst products are compatible with other beyblade burst.
The exclusion is Beyblade Burst Pro Series which is compatible with Japanese beyblade burst but not most of the hasbro stuff.

I have a quesstion about reselling used beyblades on eBay. I got a big bag of used beyblades and launchers at the thrift store. Does the layers, disks, and drivers always come in a original set when purchased? They are all mixed up. So I don't know which part originally goes with what. Can I just resell each part separately?
There is a market for a mixed lot, but a smaller set of people are willing to buy those
@@SzasseGames If I sell each Beyblade individually, does the layer, disk, and driver have to be the same as when originally purchased?
did they remake / remade plastics generation into new one like brust / metal ?
i want to get the latest version, but still have nostalgic looks like the og i grew up with
Yes they did.
All burst launchers technically work on all burst beys, but there is always a bit of wiggle room in that where some are really tight
metal is also the best...but not much of selection & customization can be done. burst is the best of all.
We'll see if the 4th generation takes that title! So excited for march.

Yeah burst struggled with keeping the beys on the launcher for sure.
