I have been watching a lot of videos of japanese baking , just sitting unproductively watching productive ppl working. By far these breads tempt me the most of all the ones i’ve seen. He works so fast and to do this almost all by himself, and repeat it day after day, it is just crazy. I wish them happiness and great health ❤

My late father was a baker when I was growing up. It’s damn hard work. He also worked nights and came home mornings. I hope this hard working couple have some extra family support to help out with the kids. I know from experience how difficult it was to have quality time with a parent who worked night shifts as many other kids do. Wishing them a very profitable and successful business. This dad is admirable, he is a spinnin top from the middle of the night and throughout the day. This is really laborous. I hope kids will grow up observing and appreciating what he does for his family.
So much respect for this guy. Could you imagine having to go into this job with a bad night sleep or hungover and having to keep track of multiple recipes, timers, proofing phases, milk bread roll directions, etc. One small mistep in temp or ingredient or kneading and proofing time and a person could lose a whole batch. So impressed.
Omg that’s the cutest family ever… J remember our family would take me, my siblings, and cousins to the family farm to help right after school was out. And then my aunt opened a little deli to serve traditional lao food near a neighborhood park. We would do the same there to. I learned so much as a kid growing up learning from our huge family. All we had was each other. My parents families are immigrants from laos. I’m now 34 years old first generation born in the States. I till this day love growing my own produce, bake my own breads, enjoy cooking and I thank my family for that.
Really enjoyed this! I worked in a bakery awhile back and brought back good memories. I felt like I could actually smell the bread as it proofed and baked. I hope you make more. Watching from Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada.
