Use pick me for taxis and tuk tuks, or else atleast use the meter in the tuk tuks to get proper pricing.

Good tip. I was aware the tuk tuks had meters. However it isn't easy to get the drivers to use the meter because I am white. I don't mind paying a little extra especially if they are honest and it helps out the locals.
