Very cool stuff from Cinema 4! Around this time WNBC updated the graphics for their late night/weekend movies. As you can see the old Cinema 4 bumpers were still being used here.

By then, WNBC was reduced to showing old public domain films. In any event, I seem to remember they did not at any time have the local rights to the better-known 1956 version with Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day. Which New York station did, I ask?
