I purchased some solid gel nail glue after watching this video and it was a game changer. I did a set of gel tips yesterday and it was so easy. Plus the gel automatically filled in the gap between my natural nails and the tips. My nails look so good. Thank you!
@@timaaj4219 It lasted 2 weeks and probably would have stayed on longer, but I soaked them off to do a new set. I work in Healthcare and am constantly washing my hands.
@@dj4512 Thanks For The Fat Reply. Cool. I'm going to try it then. I love the way builder gel adhere but like for everyone else its soooo annoying try to keep the nail fixed in place to cure. Always getting bubbles. One or two guaranteed to be crooked. Saw this and was like YES! Lol. A gamer changer for us diy people that's struggling.
Omg, this is EXACTLY what's needed by SO MANY of us! I cannot wait to try this out. If you're like me and have shakey hands, or maybe RA, or cannot contort your hands... This looks like such a good idea 💡
This is the ONLY nail adhesive I use for my extensions.I use a small spatula to put a bead at the edge of the extension, and then spread it out using the spatula. It holds my nails for a a long time and I have not experienced any lifting. If you spread it thinner on the fake nail, then you won't get so much product squeezing out from underneath I will never use regular nail gel glue again
Would you be able to do a video for removal of the gel glue and tips? Would love to see what would be involved in removal as well as best practices for removal before purchasing.
I'm so glad more and more people are finding Vettsy. Their solid gel paint and solid glue are the absolute Best! I've been using it since last year and it's a total game changer! 💜🥰💛🥰💜
@@Jessica-rb3ci Yes, you can use acetone or I believe Vettsey now sells a gel polish remover which doesn't require wrapping and soaking the nail in acetone. 💜🥰💛🥰💜
Ahhhh, finally got to sit down and watch this! Having my homemade sesame chicken for supper and Anastasia on = heaven for me lol. I can't believe you're just now getting the rainbow cat eye gel! I've had a bottle for a few months now and it's so pretty and fun to play with. This design came out really pretty and definitely very Korean nail artist- looking! 💛💛💛
Girl dunno what did you do with the blurring / focus settings on your recent videos but your skin looks so much natural and you have such a beautiful face! I'm a diyer and my first nail gel was one I made on myself, based on your instructions for e-file, ski jump nails and more, so I'm so thankful for your content and your calm way to explain everything
Lovely nails 💅🏻👍🏼. Btw I would use the first method only. I absolutely would not pick up and roll this uncured solid gel with bare hands/skin, it’s an allergic reaction waiting to happen for some people…especially when using a gel product often. People need to be aware allergic reactions can happen at anytime even if they’ve never had them before. Be careful. 😊
I have spongiotic dermatitis. It started when I used acetone for removal. I’ll always have it, and it flares up often😢. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be care with all gel products. I now can’t touch gel without getting a flare up 😢. Still doing my nails, just doing press ons💜🩵
Looks good! I once filmed my video with this messy pearl design, too, and my subscribers called it “confused design” and it really caught on and now many many nail techs in my country use this “name” for it as well. 😁🤩
Great video, love the design. I would love it if you could do a short follow up video on the tip glue to tell us how well it held up, if any popped off, also I didn't see you buff the inside of the tip, were they pre done or is it not necessary?
I follow a couple Korean nail artists and one of them uses something like this to stick her charms on. But uses regular base and a thick gel to adhere her full cover tips. Looks like the modeling stuff Dorota Palicka uses to make sweater nails, but clear.
These turned out super cute! My question is how do you remove it when you want to take them off? Like can you file it off? Soak off? Etc? I also wonder how long they lasted. Thank you for sharing this! I've seen that design as well and love it!
Loved this set but I am a little worried about how people with sensitive skin react after I watched Emily Susanahs video and her cuticles became red and sore when using this. Would you be able to update if the client has any issues?
I finally tried the solid nail glue. It's a total game changer for me! It took me half the time to apply soft gel tips. Thank you so much for making this video!
Woow Anastasia, i just order a box from vettsy and i tried 2 nails the way you did it the first time and they feel like to hold for good. The only downside was they got way to thick under the nail and i had a hard time filing it thin again, also the form was almost glued on the nail as well. Have to try to use with less nail glue gel again and maybe make it thinner in the form already. Thank you so much for this awesome tips.
Hi Anastasia 😊 quick questions... Do you not have to etch the inside of the gel tips beforehand? And do you need to reapply base coat to the top of the tip before applying gel polish? I've never used full cover gel tips like these before nor have I used this solid glue and I have some and want to try this tomorrow, so I'm hoping you can help. Thank you 😊
I’m so glad I’ve read the reviews and all are positive. I’ve just bought Ugly duckling odourless acrylic and hard for me. I have gel products from young nails as well. All are good except me I have a hard time curing mail first in a flash then fully curing in the lamp for 69 sec in led lamp. Flash curing is hard with a mini light as gel is slipping everywhere and end up with bubbles. I’ll give this a go. Also brushes are problematic if cheap cause some bristles fall off or the brush part falls out of handle. I will order the smaller one cause I do have rest of supplies. I find they don’t have long square. My daughter likes that I prefer short stiletto or almond. I’ve always loved and still Anastasia videos of nails. Where are these people located as I’m in Canada.🥰
Last year when the solid nail glue came out I asked Vetssy whether it was a gel or resin and they told me it’s a resin, which I recently learned is what hard and soft gel is made out of.
Thank you for reviewing this company it was popping up on my UA-cam and the set was. beautiful, I'd love if you could maybe one time do a lovely filigree set or tutorial 😍
I bought some of this gel (different brand) it worked great in the beginning, but it didn't stick to the nail. So disappointed, I think it was old. But think I will try Vettsy products. Any discount codes. Thank you sweetie
Do you also have the problem that the gel is kind of gummy after curing? I tried to file it from underneath the tip but it just clogged my drill :( and do you remove the sticky layer of the base coat? My gel didn't spread at all and I had to press so hard to get it to the free edge...
That would look really cool if you took the white liner and filled in the swirls and if it got outside you could just buff it to make it look perfect... Your nail art is absolutely amazing! And these products look absolutely amazing! I wanted to buy the Betsy solid gel or enc's bubble gum gel and didn't know which one to try. Have you tried and see bubble gum gel as well? If so which one do you like best? Or are they both the same?
They're the same product however, enc is overpriced nonsense with awful customer service and even worse policies on shipping and returns, etc... imo anyway, so I'd suggest buying from vettsy. They're wonderful, inexpensive and stand behind their products. You can fill in with a builder if you want btw, as I think I saw you asking someone?... I haven't done it yet but I've watched many overseas nail artists doing it and it works lovely. Good luck 😊
How do you remove the gel that oozed out from under the free edge and the nail tip? I love solid gel adhesives but it is a pain to file and remove later. Any help, suggestions are appreciated!
I feel so dumb for not thinking of this!!! I have been using solid gel for decorations for so long and just now I'm seeing that I can do my right hand in minutes ;-; Thank you Anastasia, as always ♡
