I got my first rig back a couple of months ago. It's the old playseat. I think I might buy a cammus c5 for my son to see if he likes sim racing. Great video, bud.
@SimulatedDrivingResource Nope. That's mine. Lol. He has played Beamng on mine and loved it. He is just a little too short to reach the pedals comfortably.
Yeah... kids tend to confiscate our toys way too easy you are right 😏 then yes, a C5 would be a good starter but then you wouldn't be able to share eco-system with him
Are there Allen key screws the C5 containing the rotary buttons? The white gloves remind me of Taco - Puttin on the Ritz… Every time. Final note: I will remember you as Bob the builder now. Greatest handyman of them all. ;)
I tried all the different Allen keys but no dice. Cammus does change them though. The newer ones have Phillips. But its weird because there is some thread in them. Omg Zero.... I do the white gloves for contrast, not as a fashion statement 🤭🤭🤭 ahhhh if only my friend although I have to admit that my disassembling and assembling skills have grown through out the last years
@@SimulatedDrivingResource I have 100 on cammus software and around 75 in game and already feels like gym session. Keep it up with your fantastic work, one of the best channels of simracing, good reviews and love the comparatives
Cammus C12 GTR wheel is upgraded and now have similar cushion like it's original round wheel. I saw a user recieved the new one.
Very good. The hard "plastic" was not bad but I am sure the new one will feel much better.
Added the 3DRAP polymer to the brake of my 'old' TLCM pedals. Happy with the result for the price as the original configuration was a bit soft.
Absolutely. I also had those on my TLCM and was also amazed with the difference.

Erggghhh... wouldn't it be cheaper to let the lad just test out YOUR rig to see if he likes it? 😏 thank you my friend

I'm ok with that. He won't be able to steal my stuff then. Lol

Did you try the carbon paddle on the C12 ? Any feedback if is it worth replacing the originals?
I am honestly quite happy with the magnetic shifters on the C12 so no, I wouldn't say it is really worth replacing those.
Could you make a review about the new elastomer brake mod for the Cammus LC100-s from 3Drap?
I will see what I can do.
hi really good video, is gt steering wheel from cammus works for cammus c5? thnx
No friend. The GT add-on from Cammus only works on the C12
@SimulatedDrivingResource ooh Oky thank you so much tho
GT wheel from 3drap can be installed on c5 but you need to disamble the wheel. 3drap have a detailed guide on how to install it though.
Correct. Very clear installation video I recommend checking before purchase.
What are your settings on the c12? Looks quite strong
I believe 90% in both cammus software as ACC and yes, the c12 is quite a potent wheelbase
