Damn. It’s been a long time since I’ve sat in for a Triforce Podcast. Glad to see my two favorite dads and their prepubescent Lebanese fugitive turned serial killer are still going strong.
If the fence has been where it is over 15 years there's no claim from neighbor. They bought the existing property line post-adverse possession. (Also if anyone splits the cost of building a fence with your neighbor it's a good idea to have someone mark the property line so this kind of thing doesn't happen)
Tell your neighbour that the plants are in, so it will take a year, so if they are willing to sign up to an agreement you will move over the coming year (at least over winter plus up to a bit of summer), giving you time to move those plants and them to clean their backgarden and start laying it when it is easier and cheaper to do so.
If the land is registered, Pyrion will need to apply for the rights to the land. It's not automatic. If he wasn't aware the land wasn't his prior to his neighbour informing him, seeing as he moved in after the fence was constructed and it's been more than 12 years, then he has a solid chance to get the land. However, typically, since 2003 if the registered owner of the land, ie your neighbour, counter files your claim then the law will usually side with the actual owner. It's tricky and complex and a headache but you have a serious and legitimate claim here. If not at the very least, if you want to avoid that legal claiming bullshit, you should be compensated by the neighbour for your costs or he can go fuck himself.
Its really a shame that Pyrion is afraid of confrontation with this neighbour, they're already causing confrontation by having the audacity to tell you to move your fence after fifteen years of it being like that. Who gives a damn what a deed says. They saw the property when they moved in, they saw the garden and bought it anyway! Not only that, but they aren't even going to live there!
I'm surprised to hear people suffer a lot of crashes in DMZ, I haven't personally experienced any myself; playing from day 1. Maybe ya need to crank the settings down a little Lewis?
Its been a while since I learned real estate (in US) but flax is likely correct that because the fence has been their for so long it is now his property. If I remember this correctly I think the new neighbors could sue the home seller to be refunded on the square footage they loss. Either way still better to have a professional deal look at it, but I don't think their is a need to move the fence.
I love how every gaming story I've heard about Kirsty recently is she either doesn't think she's good at it or doesn't know what she's doing only to then be an absolute beast and be brilliant!
Change it if they are willing to foot the bill...? You shouldn't have to pay to fix your garden after this or move the fence. Seems fair enough that way
Honestly, I would just use the adversely possess land law to your benefit. That guy bought the place with the fence like that. if its really been 15 years, and not even your doing. fak em You could even be like look. I will pay you a bit of money to buy the land, or I will go and see if I can claim the land though adverse domain, because you are really asking me to take on a great expense. (7 months late I know worthless info) or you could ask him to pay the expense of moving the fence.
And how wholesome it was to see Flax's music stream dream come true.
I was fully prepared for no triforce on JJ week. What a treat.
Can I just say how magical this Christmas has been, with all this Premium Flax content in the JingleJam? The man has been everywhere.

Shout out to Pyrion, he's self-deprecating in his humour but he's genuinely a top lad

"Don't take things for granite" is one of my favorites.

If they want that ft of land back so bad, make them re-pay for the fence and garden bed to be moved at their expense

I believe unfortunately for Pyrion - that the laws around adverse possession in the UK changed significantly in the last 5-10 years.

Sips' "England vs USA match will be exciting" remark didn't age well.
Who would have thought winter is cold?
I’m only 4 months behind you now… so watch out
I got a Jehovah witnesses at my door a few weeks ago. Politely told them no and they left. They didn’t try and push.

Could swear I've seen this thumbnail on a different episode
Thought I was imagining it. I almost didn’t click this because I thought it was old. It’s similar to #53.

The reason why they muster wrong is because most people in America don't know what a muster is unless they have been in the military.
My boys mentioned trailer park boys for the first time I can remember. And my life is.complete.
