Hi Gonz, hope you re doing good. Good to know the live automation . Btw when is the kitchen date for the sp 1200 ? didn't t mention when you send the samples . Cheers Matigomi.
@@caba4445 you should be ok doing the new version. Just know you can have to version installed. You would have to rename one of the programs (ex. Serato studio 2.1 trial). You should be ok though. Let me know if you run into any problems
Hey Homie how do you go about gain staging/matching in SS. Do you use any plugins to do that? Also could you discuss how you master at the end, in order to have the proper loudness for uploading on streaming platforms or for shows.
Gain staging is a bit tougher on SS compared to other daws due to not having an option to do external routing. You would have to an export of your finished track. Then create a new project to include your reference track so you can try to gain stage in that fashion
@@djgonz123 Thanks for the reply. Do you master your tracks and use it or do you put it in another daw. I am thinking one should be able to get a good enough mix and loudness with SS as it is now. Am I wrong? I havent done it yet though lol
@@Wisedome007 For the past year I've just been using SS for everything. Ill use a mastering plugin and chain called Ozone 9 inside of Studio which has what I need. without some master eq limit and compressor can get the mix where you need it
Another information packed tutorial. These tutorials teach me things I didn't even know I needed!
