He explained my life pretty much. I was a trust fund 20 year old when my mom died and left me money. My life too was pretty easy until I met my narcissistic husband who blew the rest of my money and abused me until last year when I left. Mr. Tolle is very smart. He described my life. It's true, there's always a balance between good and bad. I learned so much in those two decades. I am who I am now because of it. Deeper, grounded and wise because of my suffering. Thank you for your honesty. It sheds so much light on the darkness that pervades the world today. Thank-you from the bottom of my heart because I have realized with understanding comes peace.💙

Man this has been one heck of a year and everyone is going to be stronger for it I hope. Lately I've been thinking allot about those who are lost and stuck without any form of guidance. I hope they find the will to grow through this adversity or by luck find someone like Eckhart to set them on the right path. One must have an Amazing relationship with Self, in order to expand & blossom exponentially.
1. Learn how to be your best friend alone vs your own worst enemy in the mind
2. Morning Meditation daily
3. Spend time in Nature and appreciate all of the surroundings
4. Drink pristine filtered water daily
5. Learn how to master your 3rd eye
6. Spend time with animals, especially a dog since they are the most empathic
7. Spend time in the Sun
8. Exercise daily to clear the mind
9. Transition to a High vibration diet of fresh fruits and vegetables
10. Expand on your create abilities and do things that you love to do..
Agreed, except 6. I have 2 cats, of which, have learned and harness through positive fur parenting, a deep exponential level of empathy towards their mother and father, me and my husband. Empathy is a learned behaviour, so if your dog is empathetic towards you, it’s because you have been nothing but. Anyone can be empathetic, so long as the behaviour has be shown at hand and foot So, when you say “especially dogs” it singles out. We’re ALL empathetic when shown empathy....and for some it takes longer for it to grow on, however, with consistency and patience, empathy shall take seed and grow without ceasing. 🙏🏼💯❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍.
All animals have the ability to show empathy and compassion towards others, depicted on the consciousness of their soundings. I can only relate from my experience and perspective so there really is no right or wrong answer, just different levels of consciousness. Perhaps the lady down the street would debate and declare monkeys as the most empathic and that ok too...

Insightful understanding how to overcome difficulties and challenges in life - both physical and mental/financial/health and the balance one needs to meet them needed for growth. Interestingly, one answer that I find in harmony with what is the purpose of life. To me it's meeting challenges (small and big) in life in all domains for growth and fulfillment. Happiness is largely derived in meeting those challenges in feeling fulfilled and appreciating and enjoying all that is beautiful, good, and uplifting in life.

While I usually agree with Mr Tolle and I agree hardship helps us develop tolerance. I believe that if we had no difficulties we may never seek Him and feel self sufficient and arrogant even. We really fall to our knees when the trouble seems insurmountable so strengthening g faith or helping us get through

With all the difficulties I've faced, it's amazing I haven't dropped dead yet, I guess I haven't suffered enough yet, can't wait for the next challenge so, I'll continue to make things difficult for myself. Who knows, eventually I'll figure out what the point of it all was.🤔

I wish he had continued with the analogy. Over exercise can be very harmful, too much life suffering...? Love to hear his explanation for how this relates or if he abandons the analogy
If I'm not mistaken, he's saying that framing it as "a good thing" can easily devolve into too much of a good thing if we're tying to rush things until we're pushing ourselves to run faster than the universe needs us to. There are always signals from this in the body, but it easily becomes impossible to notice without slowing down and bathing in the light of our presence, and allowing mindfulness and awareness to guide us through our stress and discomfort in a meaningful, rather than harmful way.

Yes too much suffering is comfusing. There is a point that the person breaks, especially if he has no idea of what the solution is. which we seem to have. He just gests lost in the rush of life, untill things get calm. then he has a dim chance. a food is raw without heat, and burned with too much heat, but cooked with enough heat.
