Have you been seeing more player scavs recently in Tarkov?
I only feel safe for the first 15 minutes on streets. After that I know they hunting me.

had that happen to me and a bud on lighthouse... we dropped a PMC and an AI scav came over and stole his gun and backpack full of loot..... I have never been so temped to take the scav rep hit.... the damn AI hadnt even noticed the PMC, but god knows it automatically sniffs the dead body from 50 meters away in the dark of night and bee lines it right over to hoover it up.
This happens to me all the time as well when I'm looting Rogues on lighthouse. They will beeline it straight to the dead body and start looting if you're not quick enough😢
The worst part is often the scavs will simply disappear whatever they pick up. They'll pick up an entire backpack and not equip it or anything. It's just...gone.
A couple of weeks ago was scavving on Lighthouse. Approaching Building 1 I heard a ruckus from the roof - likely a PMC murdering Rogues, doing PMC stuff. I decide to eff off across the road and head for Grotto when I notice a T30 on the ground next to one of the trucks in the parking lot. Lo and behold an Armor Repair Kit and assorted goodies inside. I transfer the sweet loot from my Scav Backpack into the T30, leave my ratty bag on the ground and frig right off. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall when he returned to find his sweet bag and Repair Kit gone, replaced with some hand-me-down garbage.

1:10 is a great example of why scav rep is horseshit, he steals the loot and you cant do anything about it unless you want to tank your rep.
Breaking legs is always an option, also having a slideshow with a 14900k on streets shows that no matter what you have the map is still unoptimised.

I've got a 9700k and was thinking of upgrading, I guess it's good to know that would have been pointless
@@CoffeeFresh_ that you can upgrade . I’d say rn you’re looking at a 5800x3d or a 12700-13700k to get reasonable frames. The reason why he’s stuggling is the current patch has insane memory leaks and he’s streaming which takes up a lot of resources . For the average person it’s going to be fine . I get 80-100fps at 1440p with a 5800x3d and 4070ti while streaming over discord

Had something similar happen just the other day. Airdrop came in and a random scav hung out waiting. I gave a warning shot and voiped to tell him not to steal my loot. He did. So I exited the container and popped him in the head. I absolutely hate traitor scavs, but I gave homie full warning, so fuck him. Got back to 6.0 within 4 or 5 raids anyways due to killing pmcs.

Your Windows installation is currupt, you need to do a completely fresh install. That will fix the performance issues.
