@@Lee-fy4mfnot gonna lie I went to watch this movie just because y’all said it was mid and it was beautiful, the videography and casting was weird at times but overall beautifully done.
Idk what other ppl said when hyping it up but mid is definitely not what it was, the storyline was giving independent movie but once again the videography caught me off guard (in a good way).
P.s I’m a media production student😅 I think ik what I’m saying.

Something everyone seems to not catch on is that he asked for how many soy sauce pockets (how many pills/drugs) and her saying one was suspicious af bcs no one orders just one thus he left the chat because he caught on. Later when he called, he was calling her friend's phone and not hers to make the delivery and she answered without speaking.

Y'all miss the very end scene. Her best friend is in the sea as a "fish" dancing ballet under water!!!! It was the best scene and brought everything to full circle.
The sapphic vibes are strong lol loved this film and Jeon Jong-seo is one of my favorite actors. She was great in The Call

NO WAY U GUYS WATCHED THIS!! Its such a good movie and her acting just adds so much to it. Also to explain the ending a little, I think she took all the flash drives and is going to go through every girl on that log, find them, and return it back so they have nothing to fear anymore. Like the highschooler and even ballerina, they feared the sick man because he would threaten them saying he will post/release the videos of them, so if our main girl returns them back they will have nothing to fear anymore. That's what I took the ending as.

The first time I saw the guy who played the psycho was in Flower of Evil! Not wanna spoil, but yeah he played his role so well there too! Such a good drama if you havent reacted to it yet

The director, art director etc are really young!!! There is a Video where they talk about the production, the new generation of film makers 🎉
The fight scenes are just impeccable 🔥 "My Name" in Netflix was good but this one takes the crown when it comes to knife/gun combats.. Visual/Camera moves/Music background fits perfectly with each other. It's your typical revenge plot but the silent chaotic vibe with an adrenaline kick is what makes it great. I agree with what they said that killing the boss for yapping too much is unusual but here MC actually pulled the trigger right away which is more realistic haha. Love it. ❤ As someone who likes Noir genre, believe me, this one is really well-made. Kudos to the actress too for the killer look and expressions🤌

I said this when I saw it but this is probably my favourite action movie from recent memory. Reminded me of old school action movies, simple story with good action. Some of the directing and editing were a bit overdone for the first 2 fights but after that they definitely found their groove.
GRAY did the soundtrack to this movie and he did a phenomenal job on it.

The song and background are all by GRAY and I would recommend the film "The Call" by the same actress. It's a horror film and you will LOVE it for sure and it is also by the same director and story writer.

I just watched this twice last night. I have a theory about an underlying plot. I think the main character and the ballerina we more than just friends. But that is still such a taboo in Korea that i don't think they could come right out and say it.
The two senior citizen gun sellers are freakin legends in Korea. The best comparison I can think of right now is Helen Mirren and Michael Caine

The Call which is a thriller and Money Heist: Korea which y’all will love.
She is in Money Heist along with the villain with the long hair in this movie plus the guy from squid game who plays Sang woo. The actress in the glory who plays Park Yeon Jin is also in it.
I also recommend a kmovie called Night in Paradise which has the main girl from Vincenzo. The action is pretty good.
so there’s rumors supposedly they were supposed to be lovers or it was more like she liked her but never told her but it’s all rumors but with the way she talked about “her friend” and the memories it does seem like it’s implied. a lot of people thought the same thing but this was a such a great movie if you want to watch more about the actress, the call is an amazing movie too!

i love Jeon Jong Seo. Her other big movies have been: The Call (a great horror thriller film very much similar to I Saw the Devil, i feel like), Burning which is a thriller and mystery film; Steven Yeun from the Walking Dead also stars in it and also Yoo Ah-in. Both of which i highly recommend. I believe Burning was her debut and she won an award for her acting on it. I also recommend Money Heist: JEA which is the korean remake to the original spanish drama: Money Heist. Actually the secondary villain in this film is also one of her costars in Money Heist JEA. :)
I also recommend Money Heist JEA. For me, it was easier to get through than the original. I tried to watch the original after I watched JEA and i just couldnt continue for some reason. lol.
