Measure out boiled water (3oz) and refrigerate it - in a bottle is good - then during night feeds you add the 7 scoops of powder to 4 oz boiled water. Top up with the cooled water and it’s pretty much ready instantly. It’s basically what the perfect prep does but without the annoying noise and all the bubbles. I always bought cooled, boiled water out with me so I never had the stress of waiting for it to cool down.

My little girl is 17 months old, dribble and chewing things were her main teething symptoms, red cheeks don’t always happen. He is so perfect x
A sore bottom can be a sign of teething too...try thoose little things that are filled with water that you pop in the fridge for him told and suck on to cool burning gums....your doing fab....routines keep you both safe mentally xx

It sounds like teething in my opinion, my daughter was teething from a couple months and I found the powder and baby bonjela was a god send! Also bickiepegs lol! You can get teething wipes or toys if that would suit you better!
My kids are grown up now but whenever anyone tells me their baby is teething I always suggest bickiepegs lol. And reading that you have used them as well just put a smile on my face 😊
@@denises9680 aww yes! You don't hear of many people using them anymore! Although they help so much I think. I was told I loved them as a baby, and my daughter loved them too lol!

I literally had same problem with the prep machine causing gassiness. I make up a couple of bottles and keep them in fridge and warm them up once needed. Aslong as used within 24 hours you can do this 😊

Something I didn’t know until a few months after my little boy was born. If you’re using mam bottles and are using the cooling down method where you place the bottle in the jug of cold water, you apparently need to unscrew and take of the lid and teat whilst it’s cooling down. Something to do with the holes in the bottom of the bottle and the pressure the lid has on the bottle which can cause water being pushed through. Still confuses me a little but I researched it when hearing about it myself and it does say so, also explains why sometimes I noticed an extra volume of water then I originally poured in.
Just wanted to say, you’re an amazing mum and doing a great job. Like I said previously I have a 9 month old little boy, and sometimes it’s so easy to punish yourself for having a very structured routine or sometimes for it going out the window a little bit. But aslong as the baby if happy and healthy and has everything they need, so what if it’s changes each evening. Whatever works for you! Thank you for being so relatable and genuine x x

hi danni nice to see you . santi is lovely , just a note about teething my daughter started at 4 months but she was very curious with her mouth from day 1 . try the teether toys that u put in the fridge your meant to freeze then but i never did as thats too cold lol just keep an eye on his gums . well done ur a great mum xx

I really recommend the tommee tippee flask to take out for days out. It’s so handy to either top bottles up with hot water to warm them up before adding powder or just to heat a premade bottle up xx

When I started using the prep machine it made the temperature of the milk too cold so I went back to cooled down boiled kettle water where I was able to control the temperature.
Also I don’t know if the water was still boiling hot while you put the milk powder in but it’s better to put the powder in after the water has cooled down otherwise the hot water boils away all the nutrients from the milk

Love this video ❤️ my little one has just turned 2 years old and I found the first 4 months of her life the hardest time of my life. I think if I’d of had something like this to watch it would have helped to know what other new mothers are up to. I went to mother and baby classes but you feel like everyone is on there best behaviour and comparing themselves and their baby with everyone else. You have a beautiful baby. Loved the cameo in eastenders btw.
We were always generally routined with our eldest but if we went out or on holiday we really did just let it go!! He was just under 2 when we on our first holiday and he slipped right back into his routine at home so you’re right to chill out about it a bit more! He’s almost 5 now and is a good sleeper. Don’t trap yourself at home. Children adapt to whatever they are used to and he will sleep out and about if you are relaxed about it.
We’ve just had our second and hoping for the same 💙💙 xx

Maybe try freezing some of his milk like mini lollies to help soothe his gums.
I remember doing all my children’s bottles the only way I knew as you call it old fashioned way, always made the bottles up for the 24 hours and store them in the fridge but for some reason it’s all changed and must make them as and when your baby needs feeding.
They all survived the old fashioned way they’re all grown and have children of their own now xxxx

The prep machine made my 5 month old have a bad belly really bad and I just didnt understand it. So hes 5 months now but since 3 months old I use the old fashioned kettle way and wow he is so much more settled and no bad tummy. I would never use the machine again xxxxxx

Teething help try running your little finger over his gums try and feel if there’s any start of hardness anywhere , also best thing I found helps during the day was wet one of there muslins cloths ans put it in the freezer for a bit to get really cold then they can chew on it a bit obviously watch him just in case xx
Loved this video!! Mum guilt is real, I’m not a mum myself yet but I’ve got so many nieces and nephews and their mums all get mum guilt!! I don’t have a tip about teething specifically but if baby is groggy and hasn’t pood and you notice they’re holding their knees up quite a bit, that could be a tummy ache! You’re an amazing mum, you’re doing a great job xxxxxxxxxx
Oh and you could try putting his teethers in the freezer! Xx

Mine always chewed on their fists & fingers when they were teething, along with dribbling, red cheeks, runny poos, but they didn’t always have all of those. As for routine, my advice is don’t be too strict with it. Keep him in his routines of having his bottles and naps at the same times, but try and do them at home and out, wherever you are. Nothing worse than being out and having an over stimulated screaming baby thats used to always being at home. I always bathed/strip washed mine before bed so they knew it was settle down time. Face and hands in the morning. You look like you’re doing great though! Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, babies are hard work! 🥰

Love this!! So relatable, I’ve had my first baby in April she’s 10 weeks now, it’s nice to see how others do things, Im the same with the bottles I’ve always made them the old fashioned way but found when I tried my prep machine, my baby was unsettled. Love to see more of this content ❤️
Very sweet. I think safe sleep guidance says they need to be out of swaddle if they can roll so you may not have long. Sleep suits work well.

Omg I accidentally cut my sons toe with the clippers and I’ve been terrified to cut nails ever since! It took so long to stop bleeding, I felt so guilty! I literally cried! I have to say the nasal aspirator is slightly gross but it’s been a life saver when my little ones have had colds! Love this vid!

Anbesol but the liquid one was a god send for us. My little girl started teething at like 3 months but never got her first toot until like 11 months. That liquid? Just made life manageable for us! Xx

Oh Dan I was the same with prep machine! I felt like the powder milk didn’t mix properly with it, when I went back to making the bottles how u are my little boy seemed to get on so much better everyone thought I was crazy haha xx

You know what, until you see a tooth pierce through you can’t know for sure 😄 My lb had ALL the symptoms and he wasn’t teething. The dribbling is developmental, and everything else.. again.. can have multiple causes.
It definitely sounds like teething how my son started with the dribbling we found the only thing that worked for him was frozen carrots and cucumber sticks and ambesol from the pharmacy! Your doing amazing!❤️❤️
I’m exactly the same, I have an almost 12 week old boy and we haven’t really followed any sort of routine up until now where we only have a nighttime routine.. the rest of the day i just go with the flow!
I like to get out and about everyday so I’m really relaxed during the day. My little boy fights his sleep so much I struggle to get him to sleep in the day anyway so what’s the point in stressing about it.. I think he’s just nosey 😂 love your videos your so funny!! X

Tip- use a syringe (medication one) and fill it with yoghurt and then on a baking sheet make small (blobs) pea size yogurt samples and put this in the freezer and when he fusses give him one as its quite soothing💞💞hope that makes sense x
