One of the best themeparks in the World, with great "big" coasters! Great to see youre tour behind the scenes, Pontus is a realy great person. All the staff is very friendly there. I can also recommend you the hotel, its's realy nice!
I couldn’t agree more with everything said. We also stayed onsite in the hotel and it was wonderful.
Sadly, the water park will be delayed because something malfunction and a large section burnt down (I think about half of the 14 attractions survived). It happened 12th February 2024. Luckily it hadn't opened at that time since it was still under a few more months of construction, although sadly one person was found dead.

Yeah i remember that day it was on the News and it litteraly exploded
Only the foundation and vertical walls(not the half-cylinder walls/roof) survived to a state whrer they looked managable, but no attracions inside the waterpark survived to a degree where it would be cheaper to restore than to replace. And if i remember corrrectly the fatality was the constructions manager, Patrick Gillholm(M51).

Lol at 15:20, roller coaster enthusiasts crash a family’s lunch😂 But in all seriousness, Helix goes to show just how diverse these manufacturers can be. It’s impressive that Mack Rides can put out a masterpiece like RtH and a multi launch coaster. At the end of the day like you guys said, we’re all sharing the same passion and everyone is respected for their own opinions on roller coasters😄👍🏻🇸🇪 ありがとうございます 先生 (Thank you teacher) Honestly I couldn’t tell anyone anything about manufacturers, types, and elements before watching these vlogs and I must say I’ve learned a lot as a junior enthusiast👏🏻

Balder at the backrow is something else, it goes so fast. And helix when its dark outside.
For a pure amusement park Liseberg is by far the best in Sweden but they do not have the best rollercoaster!
The best coaster in Sweden is Wildfire at Kolmården! That coaster is the most crazy intense smooth enjoyable coaster ive ridden + the que is almost always very short!
Think i rode wildfire 15times last time, 20 the time before that!
That coaster is like a drug lol
This is true about the european parks: the people that work there usually are pround to be working there and one can feel it.
Next time you go to Liseberg you really should visit Universeum as well! It is not an amusement park but it has a lot of cool stuff and is JUST next to Liseberg. Like You can actually go to Liseberg through Universeum
I grew up in Gothenburg in the 80's and 90's just a short tram ride from Liseberg. I probably don't have to mention that I spent many happy summerdays in this amusement park. My favourite attractions were Lisebergbanan and Flume Ride. I love your enthusiasm as well as your friendly attitude. Welcome back!
Lisebergbanan is awesome! Still one of my favourite rides, which is fantastic for such an old ride!

Beautiful park with unique rides. That view from the top of Valkyria was certainly something to behold. Hopefully soon I will make it to Sweden to experience this place
Coming back to this video after spending half my day with Andreus Andresen at IAAPA. Andreus is such a humble guy and very much an enthusiast himself. He told us that they are about to start rebuilding the water park and there are slides coming in in from whitewater in a few months.
Regarding HELIX:
If you want to feel the force of the ride.
Choose the backseat. Way back!

Me as a proud Swedish guy, I love Liseberg very nice. Helix Valkyrie kållerado and flumeride are my favorites hope u had a fun time!😊
I’m not quite sure why but I always compare or feel like this park is most similar to Linnanmäki.
Both are city parks with multilaunch coasters that follow the terrain as headlining attractions. I can see it!
As I'm watching this I'm loving it. Balder doesn't have over banked turns, at best they're banked at almost (but not over) 90 degrees. If you like Balder I wonder what you'd think of T-Express in South Korea.
I KNEW Helix would be better in the back for at least two reasons: 1: the drop out of the station and the 2: camelback after the inverted top hat. That back seat POV is another POV you ought to isolate. Thanks for posting!

I always take the back on helix, it adds so much to the experience.
Lisebergsbanan is a masterpiece, the three large loops kick ass, can't forget it

The water rides are also fun, don’t forget them!
My guess is places like Liseberg has a big part permanent staff with good salary which means they care, but some parks only rely on low salary disposable workers to maximize profit.

When i was going to ride it, it closed and it open then IT CLOSED AGAIN
Too bad Kanonen isn’t at this park.. however Helix easily makes up for it. (Now Matugani at Lost Island) And Valkyria is also where Kanonen was!
Sadly the waterpark burned to the ground a few months ago before it even opened. But they will build it up again
The green roller coaster is coming to Stockholm in 2025. I wonder what Graffenburg cannot get in Stockholm get the green roller coasters.
To bad you wheren't there before they remade Valkyrie. Before that it was called the "Kanonen" witch means cannonball. Where is started with bulling you back 5 meters then a heartbeat started to here. Then they launch you out like a cannonball right into a inverted loop.
They removed it to build Valkarie and it was bought by Lost Island Theme Park in Iowa under the name Matugani

I do remember Lisebergsbanan.... Went with a friend (a good friend, but I have never been to Liseberg with him)... So we took the bus and I started to talk about all the rides we are going to ride on.. he said pretty much "hmm..." got inside and it turned out he was phobic against pretty much anything that moved, made a noise or was actually funny...
In the end I got angry, and I told him (i'm a man also, it was a mate) either you are a man or mouse and you just have to step up to at least ride "Lisebergsbanan" otherwise I'm going to tell everyone and I'm going to laugh at you (yes I was mad, and bullied him in the end...) all the time because you sir are a "mouse"...
After about 30 mins of serious persuasion tactics. He finally did it... And on the way up he almost fainted, and looked like he is going to be sick... totally white, and could not speak and just shook... I regretted everything I said and I actually thought he was about to have a heart failure or something... I felt really really bad... what the hell have I done... he is going to die...
Anyway... I told him to open his eyes and scream he's lungs out... and just have fun! and after that ride he hit me hard on my shoulder (yep really hard) and told me "why did you not tell me this was "easy and fun"!!!!... I just said I tried for 30 mins, until I got really pissed off and pretty much forced you... Then we did that thing about 8 times more... He loved it!
The launches on Helix are there to get the trains up to speed without the use of lift hills. As Helix is located on a hillside it only requires minimal launch speeds thats why they're not as intense as something like Maverick. Always laugh when thoosies whinge about how pathetic Helix's launches are like Mack could have made them more intense or something
If the general consensus is that the launches are forceless, that’s a totally valid complaint. I don’t care about the “buts”, most family launch coasters i’ve ridden have more power on their launches.

I remember Pontus from one of Theme Park Worldwide's vlogs from the last couple years, shame you couldn't get him in a room with a piano cause that dude can really play the keys! Liseberg looks like a top 5 park in Europe to me, even though there may be parks with better coaster lineups Liseberg is too beautiful.
Hopefully Jetline can reopen and be safer than before, the accident doesn't look to be on the park or maintenance staff but just a really unfortunate incident.
The accident was not on Liseberbanan, it was on Jetline Coaster at Gronalund

Glad you enjoyed the place, I was there two weeks ago as well and loved it! I kinda felt like the rant against the "privileged" enthusiasts was kinda a slide against Coaster Studios, at least thats how I perceive them. :)
I got recommended your channel way late, but i've to say if you included backstage acess in your title you'd garner so much more views. Very unique view from liseberg.
Or perhaps make it's own episode backstage at liseberg. Maybe you've already done so, as i recently found your channel. i'ma check some more content from you guys now.
Also consider yourself very lucky to able to afford and do these kind of things at such a young age. Maybe that sounds condescending, but i mean well.

You’d be surprised by what sending out an email ahead of time can do! And we do work with quite a few American parks as well.

@@ismail_bel04 You get a more rougher ride in the back, more speed, more everything. The two back seats even has their own requirements. You have to be minimum 160cm tall to ride the two back seats if I remember correctly. And there you get the best experience
@@ismail_bel04 I actually think that front seats suck in all roller coasters. The speed is always better in the back. But in Helix the difference is even more noticeble. Why it is so I do not know
