Wow! Why are there so many RV fires and sheared off hydrants in LA? And, why aren't they ready to go with PPEs as soon as they exit the apparatus? Great video!
The RV and other vehicle fires are the homeless cooking, "cooking", heating, etc. Sheared hydrants, I'll bet you can imagine a reason. "Why not ready with PPE?" This question gets asked and answered regularly. Count how many seconds it is from the time the line is charged and ready to use, till the time the FF picks up the hose. Then consider "Is there a good reason to hurry and get water on this fire and save maybe 30 seconds at most?" The vehicle is a total loss. There are no exposures or extensions. No lives at stake except that of the fire fighter(s). They wear the PPE appropriate to the task. When the task is riding code 3 on the streets of LA, the appropriate PPE is seat belts and headsets. 85% or their calls are medical and don't require SCBA.
they did say over the radio that there was a previous burn in the same spot, wasn't sure what kind of fire that previous burn was though, sounds like it's the one you're referring to.
For Sale: Slightly used RV with a convertible roof and very adequate ventilation, “see thru” walls with a “burnt” color interior / exterior finish,...🤔
Why does it seem that American Fire Fighters only put on their masks when they see that they are needed. So much time is wasted when these guys fart around doffing their helmets, putting on their masks and fire proof head gear then putting on their helmets and finally puttin on their gloves. Don't they practice and practice these maneuvers so much that they can do this on their sleep? It irritates me so much to see time being wasted.
2:07 "Get the water on it" Helpful advice
I'm amazed at the vivid picture from your camera. Great job 👏
That was letting off! Surprised they didn't continue in their Light Force.

They mustn't put on their helmets or breathing apparatus whilst riding in the fire engine, although they can put all the other turnout gear on.

Little paint, be good as new
I know I will get slammed for this but I would have sprayed the building wall every couple min. to make sure it didn't spread.
Great job LAFD, City of Los Angeles is a dump, with some nice pockets.
Where are those nice pockets?
@@DrLumpyDMus Bel Air, Los Feliz, Westwood there are more but you have to drive through crap to get there, which sucks.

Lafd is looking for a few good firefighters. Go tell them how to do it……
They do it just to irritate you.
