An mp5 is enough to deal with any close range situation ,soft body armour is no good against the right ammunition

@5:41 aaaaactually, BB doesn't stand for Ball Bearing, but actually is a specific size of birdshot, 0.180" in the US or 0.160" in the UK (wikipedia.org).
@@shaunparkinson7121 They're called BB guns because they typically shoot BB sized pellets, I looked it up. "From Wikipedia: "While it is often stated that "BB" stands for "ball bearing", this is not the case. The original BB guns used the BB sized lead shotgun shot, midway between B and BBB size."

Plus the mp5 has be phased out for the most part, they use g36c's and Sig mcx's now
@@lewisarthur6778 yeah MCX is more ctsfo but true using G36 and seen some offices with MP7 in my town before on patrol
Even the G36C is being phased out slowly due to the barrels melting after 60rds, according to the Home office report.
@@climbingbow The MPX is meant to be replacing the MP5, but the Met are keeping their MP5s in service which is nice, I love the MP5.
@@Matt-Durham yeah the myth about the g36s melting was when they were first introduced and people didn't like the polymer frame. Turned out to be false, this might be different tho I'm not sure

Not making ready until you’re out of the vehicle? No wonder lives are lost with civi bill. That’s just dumb. When ever we did vehicle contact drills, you’d be already made ready, so you’re not fkn about making ready, when you arrive to an immediate contact. Those split seconds put lives at risk, when you need to react as soon as the vehicle stops and if required, before you actually exit the vehicle. Or are the old bill more concerned about the targets? Beggars belief....🤦🏻♂️

this may be just me but if someone had a wife or anybody that was was going to harm this person with a shotgun i would have had a marksman at the ready and when the fella showed himself like he did at the window the marksman would have been told shoot to kill. forget all this lets have a chat stuff.
