Thanks for sharing this Sheldon! It inspires me to hear your thoughts and analysis on these vlogs, keep it up and as a fellow Project Manager, (not necessarily the same field as you) your knowledge and wisdom helps! 👍🏼

Hey Sheldon, I've just come across your UA-cam channel and love your content. I have literally just watched 5/6 videos you've done and love it. I'm a mechanical project engineer here in the UK and love to see how you approach your work day and downtime/spare time. Hope you produce some more videos really soon.

Such a well put together video along with the editing and camera work! How do you travel alone and be comfortable while not being anxious? My nerves would be wrecking! Glasses look smooth too 👍 Thanks for taking us along the trip to SD 🫡 Can’t do the beer alone lol

Excellent vlog! I’d be curious to know more about your travel gear and travel tips. I’m just starting to travel for work as an IT project manager and would love some tips on this. As for the bar alone, love it my friend! There’s something so personally satisfying about taking yourself out. We do need to talk about your beer pouring techniques hahaha 😂😂 Keep the content coming please!

Hey man this is actually not about this video but it’s about a video you posted 3 years about leaving the Maine corp.
I currently am in as a reservist and I’m looking to get out.
I been in for a year and I continuing is not where I see myself growing the most for my personal life. If there any chance we can chat when you have some time. I have a feeling you are a busy person but yea. I just have a few questions. Thank you man !

Hey Sheldon, I’ve been following your journey for the last 9 months on both IG and UA-cam. This is the last week of my active duty commitment - hooyah. But I have a dilemma I have two job offers: GS-12 step 3 in Virginia Beach, VA or $105,000 in Springfield, VA as a DoD contractor both offers are amazing! Because you have experience with transitioning from mil to contractor to civil servant I would really appreciate your input?
If it matters I’d like to say I’m married with no kids and I’m going to receive 90% VA plus G.I bill benefits.
Thanks for the content it helps so many of us...

Huge congrats man! To be honest I would be doing you a disservice if I swayed you in one direction or the other. I think only you (and your wife) can make that decision based on lots of factors - future opportunities, work life balance, your belief in the mission, proximity to family or friends in each location, telework eligibility, your risk tolerance in job security, etc. Both are strong offers. I do think you can find a slightly higher contractor offer based on the GS-12 step 3 offer (I value the fed salary + benefits anywhere between 30k-50k more than the contractor salary, but then again every contractor has different benefits; salary doesn't show the whole picture... see what I mean by lots of other factors? and that's just compensation). Whichever way you decide to go, I hope it'll be the right choice and if not, remember it'll only add to your experience and you can always adjust and try something else!

    Thoughts on the Honda CRV?

it was a very smooth ride - mainly due to the fact it was the hybrid version. had ample torque and pick up in the city. on the highway it was a different story as i felt like it did not have enough power and the engine gets loud and it is not a pleasant sound (sounds like a lawn mower). amazing fuel economy though! the interior (fit, finish and touch points) left a lot to be desired but i think that's a common thing with this class of vehicles.
