Awesome video. I live in Southern California and I appreciate the Chaparal. It's too bad that not everyone can see the beauty of it and want to pave over and build houses over it.

Thanks Nxlckin! Thats pretty neat! I always wanted to visit California but I never could afford it cause i be broke lol 😆 Its just such a cool environment to explore. I also strongly agree with you. One thing my mom and dad always believed in when it came to nature is this; don't build over the land, build around and/or within it. Why because not only does it help the local ecosystem but when you really think about it, it also provides a lot of natural renewable resources, it can last far longer and it just looks way nicer in design.

Sha-PAR-el? Around here and everyplace else I've ever been pronounces it sha-puh-RAL.

Some places have different ways of pronouncing it...at least according to Google but don't quote me on it because it might be wrong. But apparently the American Pronunciation is sha-PR-al, the British or European pronunciation is sha-puh-ral and the Mexican or Spanish Speaking countries pronunciation is cha-pa-ral. Kinda interesting how each place has a different pronunciation of the same word. 😉
