Many issues on this modem 5g..like overheating make router keep restarting.. cannot boost signal..but if u got low budget..this free modem is solution for got 5G at home
My main concern is honestly the consistency and reliability. If you're able to share your experience of it for a longer period like if you've got some downtime or connection loss for example would be nice.

Ok la yg bujang or suami isteri xde anak or anak sorg cmtu. Kdg2 ada buffering tp hadap jela, xde kontrak plus boleh transfer ke mifi sim.
After read some comment here and on Facebook I think everyone experience is different, I think sometime also see luck. Malaysia 5G not as good as oversea yet.
Used for 2 months. So far quite happy with the speed. Average speed 200mbps. Quite stable but sometimes will lost connection. Suitable for watch movie.Took some times to test the best spot to put the device. Butterworth area, 10th floor.
How much data u use per month can share? 1000gb enough?
@@KennethNg1997 More than enough tbh. I'm pretty much a heavy gamer always download 100GB+ games but still have quota left. Last month I still have about 300GB left.
This month I still got like 600GB left. All games already got updated last month.

I got it in Feb 2024, interesting now it comes with U mobile logo printed (mine pure white no logo whatsoever), so far i am quite satisfying with it compare to my previous Mxxxs (suck) except yesterday midnight and this morning "internet jam", i too have the same pouch as Lim 😂 to store the router ... anybody using USB cable to power this thing (instead of the original 18W adaptor) mind to share what spec of cable needed ( i have search thru shoppe ... very dizzy don't what am i suppose to look for) TQ.

The other reviewer got more than 100Mbps upload, you got 15Mbps. Why do I only get 3Mbps???
I am using Umobile and only able to connect 1 bar signal of data in my area. Am I still able to get a full strength stable connection 5G signal if I subscribe to this plan?
Back then before i use this 5G Router, i were using TP-Link M7650 ith 0 - 1 bar signal but the connection super stable.

saya skg pakai sim umobile Borneo 2,000GB 5G postpaid RM25. saya hotspot untuk netflix. pc. tab. semua ok. so plan ni kalau 1,000GB sahaja mcm xberbaloi untuk Borneo plan.

Usually yes, but idk about this plan.
No need to return back after finish 2 years contract it will be ours
i using this for few month, one thing i notice when sim card in router speed not so fast, but when put in phone and use as hotspot is faster, weird…

u need to check u connection is under 2.4ghz or 5ghz. This router connect randomly

Have anyone tried using this while playing online pc/console games? Anyone? I'm ok with the average speed, but i need to know the consistency of the connection. TQIA!

go for fibre if u want consistency.
If your home got very stable 5G line, the latency is very enough for playing games.
I can play League of Legends with 20-30pings with this plan.
Just let you know it is even better than using unify to play the games because you will get super high ping with unify for no reason lots of time, but for u home 5g you wont get any lags eccept poor line.(And router issue both unify and uhome5g do the same router problem)

I really doubt the stability. Yes it is affordable, but money is wasted if the speed is not stable. Imagine have 5 user streaming video , downloading stuff or playing games.
I doubt the speed and latency can keep up with it compare to what line internet offered from UNIFI and TIME.
Still strongly suggest to stay away from it, unless you use it alone in the house just from watching youtube and social media. Anything other than that is useless. Just look at how pityful the upload speed is. It's dreadful
