This toyota Lexus filters are the best on the market. No need to add any additives to engine or gas. The 3.5l engine will go 500,000 easy. I’ll find the youtube video for filter
Synthetic Oil Protection that could be part of it. Perhaps take a coffee filter and let each cups of oil pass through the filter to see if there’s more “sediments”.. it’s just a suggestion
I like your thinking! That ethanol and Yeti 5 can really be hard on your oil😊 As a matter of fact when you run E85 Amsoil recommends you change the oil at the OEM interval or sooner!
I think it depends on the model year run I think it one time they suggested both which the viscosities are both very close. For instance the 020 will make a little bit better if you mileage and that's what I would recommend if you live somewhere where it's mild weather I would definitely run the 020 if it was my personal car if I live somewhere extremely hot like Las Vegas I would probably run 10W-30 if it was my personal car. That's just me with my knowledge of oil over all those years on the channel here. But at the end of the day it's such a small difference. For instance mineral oil 0W-20 synthetic wind will become a 30 weight in only about 3,000 mi It thickens that quick. So the engine would be just fine with either

You can do it every time if you want I only do it the first time I switch a car over to Amsoil if it's gasoline. If it's a diesel car or truck I recommend using it every time because it thins the oil out and it makes a drain a lot faster saves a lot of time
@@Syntheticoilprotection - sounds good. I won't do it on my 2018 Civic when I do the first oil change, but probably will on my wife's 2015 Highlander as it's had whatever the Toyota dealer uses.
@@JefferazziVideos Yeah you're completely fine on your new Honda. The Flash really helps with like a car with over 60,000 miles where it's got deposits in it. And then if it's a diesel vehicle I would just do it every single oil change because it sends out the oil and runs out faster and also the oil isn't as messy when you flush it with the engine oil flush because it gets thinner and it doesn't get as sticky.
Great question I usually do it every oil change on a diesel engine because of the sit thickening if it's a gas motor only the first time when switching over to Amsoil. Also depends on the age of the vehicle if it's an older car with a lot of carbon buildup then you could do it more than once just to get the buildup out. It's completely safe to do a flush every oil change

Not just packaging but REAL GOOD packaging
It would be pretty cool to compare the old oil to the flushed oil to see if the flushed oil is dirtier
You mean do a oil analysis test on both new and old oil
Synthetic Oil Protection that could be part of it. Perhaps take a coffee filter and let each cups of oil pass through the filter to see if there’s more “sediments”.. it’s just a suggestion
Reminds me that I need to flush out my oil with all the E85 in it before winter. Great video!

As a matter of fact when you run E85 Amsoil recommends you change the oil at the OEM interval or sooner!
The manual suggests 0w20, but you use 5w30. The reason is to make it thinner by adding something?

Where do you get the filter removal attachment?
You can get the filter tool at any of the parts stores or like an O'Reilly's
If you can find the aluminum one that is the best one they probably sell it at Lexus they probably cost $100 LOL
