Great music. Nice and innocent and fun. My favorite scene is when Mike Teevee goes through the Wonka vision machine. The reaction of Miss Teevee really worried about Mike being three inches tall. When Mike said to everyone, Wait till the kids back home, hear about this. Miss Teevee picks little Mikey up with two fingers and say's to Mikey, NO BODY IS GOING TO HEAR ABOUT THIS. Little Mikey say , where are you taking me ? I don't want to be in there . Miss Teevee purse. Miss Teevee looks down in her purse and says be quiet. N

I can see how it can be rather nightmarish, but not for me. Some things that happen to her though, but her Oompa Loompa song is a bit eerie. I think the scene from the later film though in contrast is much darker for a kids film.
@@brandoncolis3841 Look, let’s not talk about it please. And seriously, I get nightmares every single night. Don’t want to see anyone get inflated. Not even in cartoons.

WARNING TO ALL PARENTS! I LOVED this movie as a child so naturally I was excited for my grandkids to watch it. Well a couple weeks after watching it with his dad, my 10yr old grandson confesses to me that he had been praying to the devil and inviting demons into his home! I asked where he'd learned that from and he said this movie. Idk what specific part of the movie. I just wanted to get this message out. If it prevents one child from this nightmare, it will have been worth it.
Hot take, Tim Burton did a lot of things better, including how Depp portrayed Wonka. Burton's version will always be my go-to version of this story, and I think it deserves way more recognition
I loved Gene Wilder and the music brought tears to my eyes. This is one of my most endearing childhood fantasy movies.
Agreed! 🤗
Also the book “James and the Giant Peach” 🙂❤️
Me: he’s got a blueberry 🫐 for his daughter 👧🏼! 8:24
The best Willy Wonka movie without a doubt.
For sure.
Johnny Depp and Freddie Highmore are just as good!

Rip all the adults ( and Denise Nickerson-Violet).
7:41 She does smile a bit here. Anyone think she’s starting to like being a blueberry? 🫐💙🔵
I assumed she was smiling from being tickled somewhat with the Oompa Loompas touching her

First time I watched this, I thought they were all American. But actually I think Augustus was German and Verruca was English.
Where’s the scene where Willy Wonka throws Grandpa Joe head first into a wood chipper? Thats the scene I want to see
