It would be very helpful to get a rough ideas of prices for meals. How much did you pay for breakfast? How much for lunch etc. So many videos say prices are good or reasonable - but compared to what?
Reasonable compared to Panama City. Things just seemed overall cheaper. To give you an idea the Coffee-Negorni was $8. In the city it's $12. My Whole dinner bill came to half of what I would pay in a nice restaurant in Panama city.
@@living_in_latam I don't know if it helped jenchick but I found it helpful, thanks! Adjectives like reasonable or expensive are always subjective -- compared to what? So some kind of reference point is always helpful. 😀
Way too crowded now. Been here for 6 years. A lot of traffic and hard to find a parking place downtown most days. A lovely spot but growing so fast, local government is having a hard time keeping up with all the rapid growth. Price of everything here has increased by about a third in the past 2 years. Still bargains to be had but not the small town anymore. Still a great place.
Ustedes han vendido mi pais a todo tipo de gente pero a precios que los panameños no podemos pagar...! Que les pasa... nuestro país es para los panameños..y su descendientes.... primero....!

I was there last year and stayed several days in the Selena you showed. Really enjoyed it! Their restaurant has a legit breakfast, too. Sitting above that stream at 1:25 while eating was a highlight of my stay; the sound was beyond beautiful.

Yeah as more and more people move out of Canada and the US. They come to amazing places like Boquete.
True. But it doesn't change the rapid growth and crowding and traffic.
Kris kremers and lisanne froon 🙏🏻😞😞😞
thanks
Moved here 3yrs ago and its way to crowded and parking is a b- - - -. Some one needs to build a parking deck
Its good that people are bringing that up. For this guide, everything was walkable or a taxi. But for the locals, someone needs to build a parkade.

Have you been to Boquete yet?
