Ashley Hymes They couldn't do a sketch named "Cosby and Hitler". The censor in the 90's was far more zealous and the channel was part owned by Pat Robertson. Things are far looser now than then.
British seasons the best. Drew as host good. Aisha whoever is terrible. New seasons are a shell of what show used to be. Started when they used celebrity guests for one segment walk ins to promote other things instead of actually following the real spirit of the show.
I have two major issues with the newer version. One is that they have WAY too many guests on the show - I tune in to see improv masters make me laugh, not to see some celebrity shill their work in the guise of a game. The second is that Aisha Tyler has the tough job of replacing the charisma and jolliness of Drew Carey; she's a good comedian but just does not fit well as the host of WLIIA. Drew had INSANE chemistry with the cast members - he was the X-factor in why the old show had a ton of charm. The newer show doesn't have a dynamic host that plays off and generates as much energy as Drew did.
The old version of Whose Line was just better. The cast played off of each other more, they could say and do things that would get them fired today. Legend has it Drew went off to count his money
Wayne is so underrated in this game! He doesn't get to do much actual singing in the game, but his rhymes are always solidly funny, especially in the Rock Star hoedown!
I think to this day the going bald one is still my favorite. Because you start out with the first two picking on Colin obviously, and then you get to Colin and by the look on his face you know damn well the first two are about to be roasted, and that's exactly what Colin does, and when it gets to Ryan you're not sure how he can possibly top what just happened, but he wraps it up perfectly with a positive. Absolute quality hoedown 👌
There are way better hoedowns than what was in this list. For three hoedowns in one taping Ryan worked in the Melissa underwear incident, and they all were gold. And let's not forget the Village People hoedown that Drew and Colin nailed. Drew: I love the village people, they give me confidence. Even though I'm not too bright, I am rather dense. I have a fat white body, and I don't have a tan, but when I put on leather pants I am a macho man! Colin: About the Village People I have a lot of facts. Did you know they made a movie, yes they acts. It really is quite wonderful, I can't believe my eyes, and if you laid them end to end...I wouldn't be surprised And there's Drew's Christmas hoedown Christmas is a holiday that I really hate. There's nothing about it to which I can relate. So every December 25th, I kick off my shoes, and go down to the deli, and hang out with the Jews!

"He should sprout a moustache and move to Germany."
As a German I approve.
Double burn on us cause the director is English 😄 haha
15:30 colin about to bring the hate down in only the way colin can!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love how happy drew looks doing all the little dances
The Hoedown with the Best of the 4:
10. Giving Birth (Wayne)
9. Director (Ryan) then (Drew)
8. You're Ugly (Collin)
7. Ryan's Wife (Collin, Drew, & Ryan)
6. Blind Date (Ryan)
5. Drunk Mother (Chip then Collin)
4. Body Odor (Ryan / Drew)
3. Weight (Drew)
2. Going Bald (Collin & Brad)
1. 100th Episode (Drew & Collin)
“Mine’s tucked in my sock”
*damn right*
I love watching Wayne Brady react to them, his reactions are hilarious! I never could pick a favorite cast member, they're all so great!
You gotta love how drew had Ryan's back when he couldn't think of anything. Glad you included that
Legend has it that when Colin made that clapback verse at Brad and Drew, he won all the points that day.
Just to a reminder to all on here, Whose Line's airing it's NEWEST Season on Monday's. This Season will actually feature more Guestless episodes than Guests.
Guestless episode on Monday (6/18) at 9|8c!
As a german I cant be happy about this :(
As a Whose Line fan who knows how International fans can watch; I give you this! watch.ustvnow.com/guide
Is this really legit? I dont want to pay something even tho the say it cost 0€. I dont trust sites that want my credit card info while they saying that I dont have to pay
It's legit my friend, I use the site when theCW gets pre-empted in my area. It's saved me a bunch of times.
Then you'll definitely like this season!
Any cast member: *insults colin*
Colin: so, you have chosen...death
I like the older version waaaayyyy better than the new version, nowadays they can’t say nearly as much as they could back then...
Ashley Hymes They couldn't do a sketch named "Cosby and Hitler". The censor in the 90's was far more zealous and the channel was part owned by Pat Robertson. Things are far looser now than then.
And that little factoid is the reason for Ryan's line in #8 on the list.
Drew always sounds like he’s about to bomb, but then the punchlines are killer!
Everyone else: *Shot at Colin in any way.*
Colin: Im about to destroy this man's whole career.
Colin Mochrie might be the most tone deaf person I've ever seen, but damn can the guy rhyme on the spot
Ryan licking Colin's head almost made me spit my water everywhere 😂
If i were drinking, I’d have reacted the same
I'm just sitting here happy my phone is water tight
Whenever Ryan says scary....
He's going to be roasting Drew Carey
Love that you don't add ads or crazy music in between....you let it flow. Thank you!
The funny part about Drew singing behind Ryan is that he had to stand on the step...and was still shorter.
Colin and Ryan are too good together, you couldn't have found more compatible people
I love how Colin always sings in a different rhythm
I love the look Colin always gives Ryan when they sing the last line, that’s friendship right there!
Mad respect for that pianist for staying strong. I would’ve given up from laughing too hard 😂😅
Ryan did a really good job miming while Drew sang in his place and I'll never get over it! XD
Wayne is so underrated in this game! He doesn't get to do much actual singing in the game, but his rhymes are always solidly funny, especially in the Rock Star hoedown!
I love how Laura Hall keeps her composure thru these hoedowns lol
3:39
And _THAT'S_ why you *_NEVER_* let the crowd clap lol
That was a joke within itself. That made me laugh harder than all of the jokes combined
White people
They had one job. ONE JOB!!!
I love how they still let Ryan finish the hoe downs even after all his bullshit ❤️
Love the "Drunken Mother" & "Going bald" hoedowns!
Notice how every one of these is from the old Who's Line with Drew Carey....such great material
Both Ryan and Colin have been the best for these..they always made me laugh
MEL GIBSON ISNT THE ONLY ONE WITH A LETHAL WEAPON
I used to watch this in middle school... maybe I was a bit too young for some of the humor but it made me laugh so much 😂😂😂
The Drew Carey episodes of Whose Line were the best.
Wish Chip did more episodes of whose line he was the best one with these 3
There are way better hoedowns than what was in this list.
It really is quite wonderful, I can't believe my eyes, and if you laid them end to end...I wouldn't be surprised
And there's Drew's Christmas hoedown
Christmas is a holiday that I really hate. There's nothing about it to which I can relate. So every December 25th, I kick off my shoes, and go down to the deli, and hang out with the Jews!
John Rainey I HAVEN’T HEARD THE VILLAGE PEOPLE ONE WHAT?! THAT’S AMAZING.
The Melissa underwear hoedowns are only funny if you know the context, and posting the Party Quirks game here would throw off the video.
The backstreet boys, zoo, and car salesman hoedowns are also good ones that deserve honorable mention.
No matter what I still miss Drew Carey.
