I haven't done shuttle tatting in over 20 years... Got a better back with needle tatting. Sure don't miss the filling of the bobbins 😂 Though the bobbin with removable bobbin looks a lot nicer than the clover shuttles

Did you have a pattern or are you free handing it? I never knew what that end of the hooked shuttle was for!!! It's doing to make loading that shuttle so much easier!

I really like the bobbin shuttles. They do make things easier.
I have been thinking of having ago, got the shuttles.
There's some really good instructors here at UA-cam University. It requires patience but can be so enjoyable.

You should check out expert tatters on UA-cam. They're amazing! They make it look like a dance they're so smooth. Be well!
