You do amazing work. Your cabs are so well integrated into the tractor. I don't even own a tractor and I can't stop watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Really looks good. I personally like when the heater is built into a smooth upper dash in case you impact it with your head or face if you hit something. (Ask me how I know)
It can certainly be done and I have done lots of the older tractors over the years, believe it or not these older styles require much more fabrication time and more material due to small fenders ,small floorboard area and simply to much empty space to fill in ,that being said they turn out beautiful in the end
I gotcha that all makes sense. I’m talking to you from Mobile, Alabama. Where here it’s above 85 most of the year. We may only get one or two light freezes a winter. I’ve only seen snow here once my whole life, Currently 105 mid august. But point is, my struggle would be having air conditioning in the older models. Not even sure how or where you’d mount the compressor. Or should it be a completely separate deal in this case where I buy some sort of small mobile air conditioner and mount it in there and vent it out the cab? I don’t know, love to hear your thoughts on that. Thanks for the detailed reply.
I’m familiar with these models but never have done a cab for one, would be no different than any other subcompact tractor as far as fabricating a cab , thanks for watching 👍
I must say your cabs are as good as factory. I have an older John Deere 2140 and it could use a cab. I have one on my JD 2750 and it is a world of difference.
That's a awesome cab and it looks factory made except yours has better quality and options. Where are you buying the windows? I just purchased a Kubota M59 an I want to build a cab for it like the Curtis cab on my Kubota RTV. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve been getting my glass from a local glass shop for over 10 years , good luck with your cab build ,your only limited by your skill level simply take your time and think a few steps ahead ,you dont need fancy high tech tools just the basics and skill
I designed and built a hard cab for my Power king economy tractor a year ago. Soft factory cabs were available for those tractors years ago but they’re hard to find.
@Brad Gray Thank you for the information! I'll take some pictures and let you see how it goes. I do have some fabrication skills and necessary tool's to make it. I can only hope it turns out half as nice as the ones you make. What's the name of the latches you have one the back window? Thanks again, Charles from Coos Bay, OR.
This was built for a 1533, these cabs are all custom one offs I fabricate each one on the tractor it is then removed in order to do all the finish welding ,prime ,paint ,glass, wiring and plumbing and then reinstalled ,tested and ready to work

Are you able to make the plates and a guy could weld them together and add glass? For shipping purposes.
Love the video, I’d like to get some info on a cab for a 70’s model MF165. Kind of rare to do but with your skills I bet it could be done.

Do you know what a Honda 5013 tractor is and have you ever done a cab for one of them

All 1/8” material and 1/16” , Flat bar, angle square tubeing and sheet steel

$8000 all in loaded
O would love one of these for my MF same tractor ! Do you build these and ship them out ?
@@shaunhull3974 unfortunately not, tractor has to be here in my shop for fabrication
