I am a Game Developer and just got Smack Studio. I'm SUUUUPER Satisfied with what this engine has to offer and could only recommend using it. It is revolutionary and I am sure to use it as much as possible for my projects
Hoping devs can add a button to add keyframes without having to copy/paste like this. Really solid toolset so far, tho. Love it and thanks for the tutorials!
Hi! I just started using Smack Studio to make characters and one thing I noticed is the difficulty of moving keyframes. Do you think with future updates we'll be able to drag move them in the timeline? Thanks for making this awesome software! :D I've been having so much fun making characters
Hi, I just saw you from yt shorts and I thought the 3d illusion from a rigged 2d pixel character is brilliant!! I wonder if it's possible to do a full on pixel animation using your engine rather than simply creating a moveset for a game?
I have 2 questions: Is there away you can make it so the canvas size is consistent without having to do it frame by frame? that's generally how I prefer to do my cast for SS. The characters are 3D models I've been rendering as sprites but to go lower than say: 300 pixels erases ALOT of the details. But the canvas size is the possible solution, it just changes sizes frame by frame. My intention is to increase the canvas size and then shrink the characters down in the stats so they're to scale. Is there a way I can work out something as I've explained above? 2ND: How do you make alternate colors for characters?
Theres no official feature to change fps yet, but you can either get rid of tweening by right clicking your key frames, or bake your animations, and deleting frames until you have your ideal fps.
Thanks for watching!

thx for the video! i wish there would be a tutorial for animals with 4 legs. many games use rideable animals and this tool could be so useful.
How do I get the drawing mode to show up when animating? My drawing box is missing.

You can absolutely use smack studio to animate characters for other games.

Hi ! Does the character on the sprite sheet animation must be the same character that im using ? Or will it replace the model ?
will it be available on MacOS?
how do you change the frames per second? (fps) by deafault its animating in 40fps for some reason?
Theres no official feature to change fps yet, but you can either get rid of tweening by right clicking your key frames, or bake your animations, and deleting frames until you have your ideal fps.
Can you export the bone movements into unreal engine?
You can export your sprite sheets to use however you'd like.
