People who never saw triumph live missed out on maybe the best rock band show ever. Everytime I listen to their studio tracks, I always think of the live versions. They really are that much better live and not the lights and all that. I mean the sound. Esp rik. He just went to another level live!
If you went to see Triumph back in the day, one thing is for sure...they gave you the best show they could and they made sure you got your moneys worth. I am grateful to mbet359 for posting these videos from the Thunder 7 tour 1985.
I saw them at The American Rock Festival, May 27th 1984, Kalamazoo, MI and again At Wings Stadium, Kalamazoo, MI in '86....awesome!! Loved 'em the, Love 'em now!
I was there! awesome upload man..I may be old but I've seen the best bands live.....and none held a candle to the Triumph shows...And Gil is by far the best singing drummer ever...thanks again guys...ROCK OUT, ROLL ON!
I have literally been searching over the past 30 years for footage from this tour. Thanks to mbet359 for posting these clips . Rik Emmett's guitar solo on Rock n Roll Machine is excellent...
Triumph will always be in my mind the best in concert band of all time -Period .

Gilbz music I agree. I've seen 35+ arena shows and the T7 tour was the best. Triumph was 2nd to nobody live.
And what a rock and roll party it was!
Thunder Seven was the first tour I saw Triumph on. Totally awesome!
Saw them here in Vancouver in 1983, they rocked the house. It was totally choice
They just don't make music like this anymore. Thanks for the upload!

Whoever runs this channel, you should totally get the Rik Emmett Star Licks guitar lessons. You'd make my life.
It's a shame this isn't synced up with a sound board recording.
