Uriah Heep are releasing their anticipated brand new studio album - the 25th in their storied career - which will be titled, appropriately enough, “Living The Dream”.
"We have been together for 47 years and we have seen many bands come and go, so in effect we are ‘Still Living The Dream,’ so it was the perfect title for the new album,” says Uriah Heep guitarist and founding member Mick Box.
Famed Canadian engineer, Jay Ruston has been called in to produce the album. Mick continues: “We chose Jay because we admire his work with The Winery Dogs, Stone Sour, Black Star Riders, Paul Gilbert, and Europe. Jay has either produced, mixed or both for these bands, and he brought a fresh approach to Heep. He has been marvellous to work with."
The band is beyond excited with the material written for the new album, which will include some epic additions to the band’s huge catalog of rock staples and looks forward to sharing it with their fans around the world.
The album will be released in CD, deluxe edition including one bonus audio track and a DVD, LP and Limited Box Set Edition (including deluxe edition + T-shirt).
Uriah Heep debuted in 1970 with the release of one of hard rock’s milestones, Very 'eavy... Very 'umble, and have since sold in excess of 30 million albums worldwide. They constantly tour the world, playing up to 125 shows a year to 500,000+ fans. The band’s live set features the classic tracks from the '70s and is a musical journey from the band's beginnings to the present day.
The band has announced a full World Tour which will last until the whole first quarter of 2019. "The mighty Heep are proudly able to tour in over 61 countries and we look forward to a packed touring schedule in 2018 and 2019. Touring is in our blood and what we have a passion to do, and so 2018 is no exception,” concludes Box.

Dallas bound may 31st at bomb factory. Two years in row to see them. 5 time ticket holder, but 4 times to see them. Dallas 1974. Me and my cousin were late getting to Moody collision that night. Everyone was leaving show because Gary thain got shocked by his bass. My only time that I could of seen that fantastic lineup. Mick box should be considered great guitarist just because his own personal style. He is one of a kind

This is the best album of the year! As I hear it over and over again, I think, this is a 10/10 opus. The sound is perfect and there are good songs. Amazing! Uriah Heep is better and better.

PS: I grew up, when Hensley and Byron were with U.H. I was a big fan and in my very first band (I was 16) we did like 'Bird Of Prey', among others...
But this, in my opinion, is some of the best they have done recently... The Chemistry is back... May you be able to carry on for decades ahead...

Saw them at Shepherds Bush Empire 14th Dec. Was an amazing gig. For me the standout song was Rocks in the Road off the new album. They opened with this song and played about 5 new tracks. They stood easily alongside the 70's tunes. Great live band.
Saw them recently in a small club with maybe around 40 people and they rocked the joint as if they were playing in front of 400. It was an absolute joy to finally see them live as they are rock legends in my book. I'm totally picking up their new album when it comes out.
These guys are coming next year in February in my home town!!! I'm so excited!!!

Uriah Heep are an English Rock Band formed in London, England in 1969. It has had the same lineup since 2013: Lead & Rhythm Guitarist Mick Box, Keyboardist Phil Lanzon, Lead Vocalist Bernie Shaw, Drummer Russell Gilbrook and Bassist Davey Rimmer. I've been listening to them for decades old-time Pioneers we never got quite the recognition they deserve in the states. This is some of the strongest material I've heard from them in years kudos to them
WOW I am re-discovering that band....I remember in the 70s Look at yourself and in the 80S the album ''Abominog'' ...like a good wine. Just look at Exodus, King Diamond and Kreator....they released amazing albums not long ago.

Holy crap!!! Are you kidding me???!!! What a rush! Bernie Shaw sounds great! Box and Rimmer are kicking ass. Lanzon is great. And Gilbrook's drumming just pulls the whole thing together. I 'd pretty much given up on Heep but I can't wait to hear the rest of this album. Amazing!!

it's true that UH has a weak moment from 1982-1995 when they were surprised by the great Sea of Light album. since 95 have not been making a bad album
There is no composer after Hensley left though he got nothing to say smth new, legend is gone i dont feel sorry about it coz they did great job from Look at yourself till Conquest not many bands did so. I love UH very much but now there is no band UH at all.

I love this song and cant wait for them to tour. They skipped North Carolina east coast except Virginia, so hopefully this old fart gets to see them this time, Hensley is still rocking out there, and putting good music out too. This heep version has done great, remember these guys are rocking at near and at 70 years old like deep purple I saw them this year, holy crap those old guys killed it.

i also saw them a few months ago--- totally kicked ass! front row and got autographs from mick and russell and shook hands with davey--- very fan-friendly guys--- davey was usually less than 15 ft from me the entire show and watching his fretwork was incredible--- cant wait for the new album!

Mano to boquiaberto aqui nem sabia e jamais imaginaria que o Uriah Heep tinha músicas assim, achava que o som dos caras era pra sempre ali tipo um Jethro Tull da vida aquela coisa mais progressiva com uma mistura toda de elementos daquela gama de rock ali do final dos anos 60 e da década de 70 quando por curiosidade abro o video aqui e me deparo com uma puta sonzeira dessa um “Heavyzão” tradicional super bem feito de deixar muita banda posterior do estilo no chinelo totalmente surpreso, detalhe eu não conhecia muito a banda justamente por achar que era sempre aquela coisa ali do rock progressivo dos anos 70 estilo que não me agrada.

I have to agree. At least the last two Purple albums more or less bored me. The songwriting was kinda lame and the production was like too perfect. Whereas Heep is still really fucking rocking! Which they prove with this cool song again! :-)
