Sir City colour and your shirt colour were almost a perfect combination and allmost matching (Cherry red) for this special video and I was waiting for this on ur views about the city hybrid...
Now 24-25 lacs on road High initial cost High maintenance cost Borderline high running cost Very small battery Electric cars better buy Better power Low running cost Low maintenance
People who are claiming that it isn't worth the extra money over the regular petrol City. And that it'll take too long for it to break even are missing the point that petrol prices aren't going to stay the same for next 3 years. Also going by that logic why should anyone buy the City ZX manual when you get the same fuel economy in the base model? Petrol prices are only going to go up. Check the petrol prices in 2020 and check them now. Also, it isn't only about the engine. You get extra features over the regular petrol model. It isn't really for people who want the VX model. It's for people who are looking for a car in the 20 lakh range and need reliable car with great fuel economy.
So u think battery and other costs gonna remain the same. If EV comes then it gonna shoot electricity bills also. Right now don't know what's the price for batteries for EV. Yes this hybrid technology is for those who are willing to go for 20 lacs range and above. Petrol prices gone up but what's the reason behind it did u checked. It's basically more VAT and excise duty. Can we be sure that such a thing won't be imposed on batteries or other alternative fuel. Same can go for any other alternative mode of fuel/power. Even CNG prices have shot up. In the long run govt wants public to keep on paying in the form of taxes, tolls, pollution certificate and other stuff. The vehicles that do pollution should be banned or scrapped but they are running elsewhere if not in Delhi/NCR Hybrid makes sense but the cost is way too much to recover for now. No one knows what future holds for us. So, people say that holds true for now or next 1-2 year at best. There is no lifelong talk. If petrol prices shoot up then too hybrid cars gonna give same fuel efficiency as they are giving now unless something drastic changes comes into picture. It will hold true for petrol cars and hybrids both. How many features u actually use if you are driving car. No one uses too many features while driving if driving car on rough patches or climbing or descending hills. Only in plains we talk about features more. Right now ADAS feature getting implemented but how much practical it will be that we can't predict for now. Every country and place have different situations and we need to take decisions accordingly. U may purchase 20 Lacs car but most gonna purchase a car that's within 15 Lacs budget. If that car gives 20 mileage Kmpl then what benefit hybrid cars give if they not giving 35 Kmpl mileage. In most cases it will give around 20-25 KMPL economy even with hybrid. Do bit of calculation how it's good for you or others if running is way too less. Not everyone clocks 50K in 2 months with petrol or hybrid cars that you can recover such a big amount. Rich don't need to think that much. They will purchase it and later gonna upgrade to other cars too. Check what a normal customer wants.
@@tarunsingh6292 Who is this normal person you are talking about? I clearly said it's not for people who are looking at the base model. It's for people who'll be buying Seltos, Creta or for the people who really want to avoid Tata Nexon EV. The extra features that I am talking about in this case are 4 disc brakes, adaptive cruise control, auto high beam and ADAS. The supposed normal people that you are talking about buy cars for sunroofs and the features I mentioned are hell of lot more useful than that. No one is forcing your supposed 'normal person' to buy this car, they can always buy the base model. What has EV got to do with this? This isn't an EV. You don't need to charge it. Please learn the difference between a hybrid and EV. "Petrol prices gone up but what's the reason behind it did u checked. The vehicles that do pollution should be banned or scrapped but they are running elsewhere if not in Delhi/NCR" First of all, it doesn’t matter how or why the petrol prices are going up. Only thing that matters is that they are only going to go up and not down. And yes I did ‘checked’. And no, it’s not ‘basically more VAT and excise duty’. That’s only a part of it. The petrol prices depend on the price of crude oil and they are going up everywhere. The oil is non-renewable source of energy and India doesn’t produces much of it. So the government has to impose taxes on it. That’s how it works. There’s literally nothing you can do about it. The electricity on the other hand can come from both of the sources(renewable or non-renewable) . So there's some hope for it. Lastly none of it has do with the car we are talking about here. It's not an EV. It's hybrid. You don't need to charge it. It still uses petrol, just the less of it. You get a warranty of 8 years on battery. So that means you don't need to worry about the battery for at least 8 years. What are the other prices are these the extras that you pay above the regular ICE cars? I'm not sure what are you trying to say here.
Sir I think it's still better to purchase normal petrol or diesel engine if someone's running is less. Even they are giving fuel efficiency of around 20 per litre. What's the benefit of hybrid if it costs approximately 10 lacs more. People with less running never gonna recover that much amount and we don't know how much resale value of hybrid cars gonna be bcz in 8-10 years span we might have to incur battery and other costs. So, the person purchasing this probably gonna give less amount for such cars. So, resale value down also. In India most consumers would be going for vehicles within 15 Lacs budget. Hybrid technology gonna be expensive in current scenario and EVs we literally don't know if there gonna be enough power supply for such a large-scale implementation. We can't become dependent on coal for power generation in such a case. We gonna need nuclear power stations for inexpensive power. If too many EVs then electricity charges too gonna shoot up. So, better govt give equal benefits to all vehicles. I understand we need to rely less on petrol and diesel in the future but let's not shift everyone to EV as govt wants to impose it on all. Even CNG prices have shot up way too much recently. I don't believe it's that much economical anymore to run on CNG in present scenario. In Haryana I witnessed Rs 86 per Kg for CNG. In such a scenario it's almost coming close to running on petrol in small cars like Wagon R or others that give decent fuel efficiency on petrol. We need to wait for other technology developments like Hydrogen fuel or something that gonna be the best option later on. But policies should be made so that people use everything and not only EV for now. We need to follow developments till next 10 years or so and then try to switch public to different fuel mode in cars. I don't think if hybrid cars gonna be this much expensive then they can really get sales rolling. Only rich can afford that
Kuch log expement ya fir or jyada fuel efficiency ke liye isme bhi CNG lagva lenge or boldenge India's first car

Now 24-25 lacs on road
High initial cost
High maintenance cost
Borderline high running cost
Very small battery
Electric cars better buy
Better power
Low running cost
Low maintenance
Heavy driver mode activated at that turn 💯💯💪💪... 😂😂👏👍👌

The vehicles that do pollution should be banned or scrapped but they are running elsewhere if not in Delhi/NCR
Hybrid makes sense but the cost is way too much to recover for now.

First of all, it doesn’t matter how or why the petrol prices are going up.
Those people were right and you were wrong. Now we know this hybrid model didn't sell well.
Diesel + EV, CNG + EV bhi aayegi kya???

Only rich can afford that
Well explained brother
