Hey Maddy, so you perform your monologue in front of the workshop co-ordinator and one ambassador of NYT. The ambassador is just there to be a familiar, friendly face and you may be asked to do you monologue to them. Don't worry you won't have to do it in front of other auditionees.

As your clip was from Fences, did it count as a published play? 2. Did you know much about the early bird deadline and did you submit your audition? 3. When do you suggest is the best time to join NYT? I don't live in London, I was interested in joining last year but I don't want to trouble my parents with the costs. I want to join before I leave year 13.
Please are the intake summer courses free? (Excluding Accommodation and audition fees). I really want to audition in March, but I need to know if I need to pay to do the actual course. Thank you.
I don’t believe it is free as you will be put on one of the 3 summer courses (junior, senior or Epic Stages) which all costs various amounts. If money is an issue they do offer a bursary to help fund the course, however I don’t know how much they give. I hope this helps.
I paid for my course in full. I am not sure if they do partial payments, I would suggest asking them at the audition or calling the number given to you in your acceptance email.
Hey love, luckily I live in London and I was able to commute every morning. That practically halved the price as I did not have to pay for accommodation. I paid the rest using the money I got from student finance. My mum also helped me out. If those options don’t apply to you they did have a bursary you can apply to. I hope this helps ☺️
