Wonderful view of one of my favorite cities. While I was living in Ann Arbor, I spent many wonderful days in Detroit, and across the bridge in Windsor Canada.. I was glad to see how Detroit has come back strong. Thank you for the memories.

My hometown too born and raise on east side of Detroit. Ferry and Dubois. We also stop at Coney Island as soon as we get there lol. We live in Port Charlotte FL now and love it but we also never forget where we came from. I will also be a Detroit Girl living in Florida.
East side here too...Gratiot & Conner then moved to NYC, now Ohio.
I knew there were SO many more reasons that I like the 2 of you!😂 I’m also from Michigan(Kalamazoo), but live in GA., and LOVE cruising.👏🏽❤️

Born and raised here in Detroit I stayed in the apartments across the street from y'all in 2005 I'm really considering moving to Florida and not looking back what city of Florida did you move to? I need a change in atmosphere badly.
It is always good to go back and reminisce on how far God has brought you! Thank you for sharing. I love Kem too! I have one of my favorite songs is call Promise to Love. When I first heard that song tears came to my eyes! I am glad you enjoyed your visit back home.

I also grew up in a rough neighborhood. My first place cost 300 a month. My mom came to visit she was trying to talk me into moving somewhere that cost more. I wanted to saving money so I rented next door to a homeless shelter. Well I opened the shade for more light while I was trying to convince mom it was a great way to save money. I was looking at her face drop in horror, I turned and look at the window to see what evoked her reaction and a homeless man was taking a dump right out in the open in the lot across the street 🤷♀️. I said, well mom we all poop 💩 he doesn’t have a toilet. 😂😂😂 you know 🤔honestly Jesus didn’t have a toilet either! No judgement from me 🙏
Outer drive in Detroit is not a good area, born and raised in Dearborn Michigan
Coney Island in NYC has Nathan’s hotdogs I don’t like them. I like Kayem skinnies sold at Hot Dog Annie’s in Massachusetts
