Another tip, was the Mediterranean cruise/Rome. Tons of walking. When we were in Greece/Rome we saw a lot of elderly struggling to walk around and see the beautiful sights because of the terrain. I don’t even want to get on the topic of the heat!! The heat and the walking are key things to know for those destinations.

St. Thomas we came back from the beach and close to the ship we saw this girl face down on the ground, out cold with two men standing close by her. So many people were walking back to the ship looking trying to figure out if she was drunk and passed out. We got on the ship, in our cabin and it bothered me so bad, I walked back to the area to get off the ship and told one of the ship personnel what I saw concerned the two men may take the girl and he said they were informed and she was brought back on the ship.
Wow that is so dangerous.
I think the cruiselines and I’m sure the independent tour companies need to do a better job in rating the difficulty of excursions. Fortunately a couple I went on were labeled. ‘difficult ‘ but were moderate at best.
