I love David. But I personally like the sound / key / mix / everything better in this version. I love Andy's screams too, but I love David's as well. All of it's CTE, and I'm just happy with how far they've come. I won't argue with anyone over what versions are better cause it's still CTE. Still good.
Someone said that they became arrogant. And I understand what he means. In their debut EP they had this "arena rock hardcore" sound, it was really original. Then Dave joined in and they recorded The Fallout, it was just so different. When they rereleased Limitless, I didn't really recognize them, it was less aggressive and Austin wasn't with the band to add this unique electronic vibe. And when I listened to TRROTR, it was the time I realized it : they're just not the same. Less screaming vocals, less synths (synths are mostly replaced by acoustic instruments played by additional musicians and it sounds so strange for post-hardcore), and influences from many other styles. They still have very good songs, but I miss their old sound as a local band... I can't believe how they changed.
how did they become softer? They have way more screaming vocals? Like MNSTR or Bloodline? They've become heavier in my opinion. Plus they strayed away from the typical "emotional" songs and started writing stories into their songs and albums as a whole. TRROTR is a bunch of songs that illustrates a whole story. Not many bands do that in any genre of music now so i highly praise them for what changes have happened to them. I will say I didn't like the remastered versions of the limitless ep songs though.
Reflexcion I must agree with you, I don't like these remastered versions of their old stuff. I do however love the electric vibe they added though :)
Reflexcion I honestly preferred The Fallout to TRROTR, idk what it is, but I just can't jam out to a lot of the songs in TRROTR
Same thing happened to Breathe Carolina they lost a member now they are not nearly as original or good as they was gravitating more towards the mainstream now :(

They made the first 20 seconds sound interesting. No generic autotune. And yes, I like it much more than screaming.
It stands for 'extended play'. It's a smaller length than an album, but it's a compilation of songs that bands will release as material before or in between albums.
My neighbours are love this song, every time, when i listen it, they started stomp (i think it'dance)

People saying the reissue sounds terrible are honestly idiots. You can like this version more all you want, but that doesn't make it sound better. The reissue has better screams and instruments. And the clean vocals isn't autotuned, and the quality on everything is improved drastically. Fair enough if you like the old version. But to say the new one's quality is bad is just a big WTF.
The instruments in this and the demo are a lot better... The screams are great in both, but the cleans are terrible in the re-issues version. -.-

Heartbøund Compared to The Fallout, they're bad. From what I've seen, Andy hasn't been singing too great live, even though he used to be really good, but that was a few months ago, so maybe he's good again... I hope so, but on the reissue version of this, the screams AND the ending are the only good thing in it, imo.

The clean vocalist now(Andy Velasquez) did the hard vocals as well in this album (as far as i know). He did all vocals save for a few parts in a few songs. In the new album (the fallout) they have a new screamer(Dave Escamilla) who does all the screams. He also did most of the screams in the song Johnny Ringo.
