You guys should really consider giving this game a playthrough, it’s a bit of a learning curve, but I assure you it doesn’t disappoint.
Idk if they should play it though, even experienced gamers had issues doing character action combat with the rhythm beat.
Looks like a fun game to play. We’d do it on easy because it’s just about the fun and story for us more than the challenge because even easy can be challenging for us 😂
This game shadow-dropped, SHADOW-DROPPED, appeared out of no-where and it instantly became one of my top favorites!

An absolute gem of a game, great music, action, humor and characters. There are also some voice actors you should find familiar in this game, like Roger Craig Smith (Sonic the Hedgehog, Ezio Auditore), Erica Lindbeck (Black Cat, Cassie Cage), and Sunil Malhotra (Kung Lao).
Feel like Erica is in a ton of stuff we watch 😅

I feel like fhe trailers can't truly capture how unique the game actually is, you gotta play it to feel it all come together

Hi-Fi Rush is a great 10-15 hour game. It's short if you want to experience the story and long if you want to take the time exploring everything there is and mastering the mechanics.
On top of that it is unbelievably accessible. You don't need to have much more than a very basic understanding of rhythm to be able to play. Even if you aren't musically gifted it offers so many options for dealing with the games rhythm game aspects in ways other than actually having to be good at keeping to the beat. You can absolutely mash your way through the entire game if that's what you want, as the only thing really tied to keeping the beat is score as well as the damage for certain attacks. The actual rhythm game portions such as parrying attacks to the beat or keeping rhythm with a short sequence of notes have methods of taking the difficulty off of them that make things passable for even the most tone deaf of people.
It really is a game that has a ton of style and substance that wants to let EVERYONE be able to play it without gatekeeping you for not being a beast at rhythm or action games.

A game that LITERALLY launched the same day it was ANNOUNCED, this game is legitimately pure bliss, the characters are likable, the combat is fun, and the music is the heart and soul of this game. EVERYTHING has to do with rhythm. This game was one of the biggest surprises of 2023... from Tango Gameworks Studio which is best known for horror games like The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo, as this game is like nothing they have ever made, this game received so much love that had several well deserved nominations and awards in several Game Awards for Audio Design, Soundtrack and Action Game... Copyright maybe the biggest issue but the game has a Streamer Mode that changes the whole Soundtrack, for its own original Soundtrack that is really good... An amazing game that is available on Xbox and now on PS5, its a must play guys
Hopefully the streamer mode works better than it did in the Quarry 😅

I would suggest a playthrough layout first, since you need to feel the beat to truly experience the game. Like the game said it doesn't penalize you for not staying to the beat, but it's so fun and rewarding when you attack on beat. Plus you got lost in it, tapping your foot or the clicks on your controller on beat. I'll keep my promise don't you worry.

Played this out of curiosity on Game Pass. Was so surprised. Excellent game. A bit short for my liking but it’s a blast you’ll end up playing it again eventually.

This idea is really clever and nice.. there are not so many music related game slike this, there are actually good, cause the mechanic is hard to programm..hope a playthrough doesn't get music claimed or so.. cause it is really fun and i love the characters.
Took me a while to get around to it, and it'll be a while before I replay it, but worthwhile. (It kind of felt to me like there was something off about the music's synch with the visuals on one of the final rhythm sequences - it took me several hours to get past that alone and it didn't feel like I was missing it or like I did anything different when I finally passed - but I'm not good enough at rhythm in general to be sure. And I seem to be the only one who had a major stumbling block right there.)
Best game of 2023. Period.

The game have Streamer mode as well that replaces the songs with their original tracks, so feel free to post your gameplay. Some could argue those OG tracks are better since they are tailored for the game specifically.
It may sound daunting since it is a beat-em-up with rhythm, but it is very beginner friendly, so I don't doubt you can get the hang of it.

Loved this game and have beaten it several times and even rebought it and beat it more on PS5. Real gem! And yeah, has a streamer mode! And agreed, some of the song replacements are better- but still wonderful!

You guys really need to give this game a try. It's on PC and Xbox Series X, but pretty soon it'll be ported to the PS5, but seriously give this amazing indie game a try. It's one of the best action games ever made in 2023. The game's graphics is called cell shaded. They basically turn 3D into cartoon style. Looking at this game really brings me back memories of old PS2 games like Okami and Viewtiful Joe.
You should also check out Viewtiful Joe. It's made by guy who made Devil May Cry, and Dante is a unlockable character on the PS2 version.
Plus the word "Chai" is urdu for tea. So his name is basically tea, which is kinda silly to me.

An excellent action game with a bumpin' soundtrack! Since you've guys played Devil May Cry - it plays very similar to that. I will say, the game _will punish you for mashing in combat._ Totally possible to beat the game while not on beat - but it won't the easiest experience.
Damage, combos, counters, your score at the end of the level, all of it is based on doing things on beat. The game lets you know when you're doing it right and rewards you for doing so. But mashing at random it going to get you punished, especially towards the end of the game. *There are options that make attacking on beat way easier,* but you've still got to put in a little effort to stay on beat. It's a Rhythm Game as much as it is a DMC beat-em-up.
It's got learning curve, but well worth the experience. The story is fun and hilarious, and the music had me jumping in my chair while I was playing. When Nine-Inch-Nails starting playing I got *hyped.* Plus when you do get used to the combat, it is ridiculously rewarding.
You got to watch Shin Megami Tensei 5 - ALL Demons Unique Skills due to the sequel coming out soon

No, Spider-Man's voice actor in the Playstation games is Yuri Lowenthal. Chai's voice actor is Robbie Daymond, who did play Spider-Man in Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite and the 2017 Spider-Man cartoon.
